2 New collection device or technology support

    2.1 Ascom Symphony support

[Case 68607] A problem has been resolved that caused attributes App_Throughput_DL and App_Throughput_DL_Mean to be set incorrectly for browsing tasks.

    2.2 Ascom TEMS support

[Case 64715] In UMTS, a problem has been resolved whereby unknown TEMS messages could be decoded as GSM RR Channel Request messages, and cause Analyzer event detection to peg spurious UMTS dropped call events.

[Case 61460] Attributes ServMCC, ServMNC and ServPLMN are now set at MPH Cell message.

[Case 66716] A problem has been resolved with TEMS Pocket that could cause the GPS information from the waypoint side file not to be merged with the main TEMS Pocket log file at load time.

    2.3 Couei / XCAL support

[Case 66598, 66778] Analyzers algorithm that detects and corrects corrupted timestamps has been improved. The related problem only affected LG LTE chipset devices.

[Case 67045, 67914] Added support for XCAL iDEN version 3.2.15

    2.4 DingLi support

[Case 67358] Added support for Huawei handset C8800 in DingLi.

[Case 66233] Improvements to Analyzers algorithm that detects and handle corrupted timestamps.

Added support for a new device called Qualcomm LTE TDD in DingLi.

    2.5 Huawei CT support

Added support for Huawei NASTAR file format.

  • Actix Analyzer Update July 2012 4

    2.6 Huawei Probe support

[Case 64649] Added support for the Rohde and Schwarz TSMX UMTS scanner.

    2.7 JDSU support

Added support for JDSU version 16.3.

Added support for Sequans LTE chipset devices in JDSU.

[Case 64628] A problem has been resolved that could cause Analyzers Data Testing attributes not to be set at JDSU FTP Measurements 2 messages.

    2.8 KnowYou support

[Case 66651] Added support for GSM and WCDMA technologies.

    2.9 Meritech support

[Case 68619] A problem introduced in 2012-06 Analyzer Update has been resolved that prevented Meritech Sigma-LA log files from loading in Analyzer.

    2.10 Nemo support

[Case 67947] Added support for Nemo Outdoor 6.3 (file format version 2.14) for GSM, UMTS and LTE technologies.

[Case 65565] A problem has been resolved that could prevent Nemo log files from loading when a Nemo SEI (Service Information) message is corrupted.

[Case 67360] In LTE, a problem has been resolved that prevented scanner attributes from being set when scanning LTE TDD networks.

[Case 68022] In GSM, a new attribute, ScanSCHSigLevel, is now set that indicates the power level measured on SCH per ARFCN.

[Case 62934] A problem has been resolved with Nemo Server log files that prevented GPS attributes from being set when the GPS fix field in the GPS message was -1.

    2.11 Qualcomm support

[Case 67006] Added support for log files with a QMDL file name extension.

  • Actix Analyzer Update July 2012 5

[Case 67476] In LTE, a problem has been resolved with Analyzers device technology detection algorithm that could cause UMTS attributes not to be set when the UE switched between LTE and UMTS modes.

In LTE, Analyzers device technology detection algorithm has been improved for log files where the UE switches between LTE and CDMA

    modes.

    2.12 Qualcomm chipset support

[Case 60467] In LTE, new attributes LTE_UE_StateChangeRRC, LTE_UE_TimerExpiryEMM and LTE_UE_TimerExpiryESM can be set

from Qualcomm debug messages when the chipset reports an RRC state change, or an ESM or EMM timer expiry.

[Case 68745] In GSM, C/I attributes are now set at GSM L1 Burst Metrics messages.

[Case 63738, 66781, 68326] Improvements have been made to the Analyzer algorithm that detects and handles corrupted timestamps.

The implementation of Tools > Preferences > General Settings > LTE > Create per-TTI attributes has changed: selecting this preference no longer sets array attributes (such as LTE_UE_Num_RBs_per_TTI).

Instead, provided that the user has the appropriate license, single Qualcomm chipset messages reporting several TTIs are now split into several messages (one per TTI), and new attributes are set (such as LTE_UE_TTI_DL_NumRBs) for every TTI.

    2.13 Rohde and Schwarz support

    Added support for ROMES 4.67.

[Case 65372] A problem has been resolved that could cause scanner CPICH EcN0 measurements to be slightly off in femto cell environments.

    2.14 SwissQual support

[Case 65700] In LTE, more attributes are now set from LTE PDSCH Statistics Info and LTE PUSCH Statistics Info messages.

[Case 66725] In UMTS, attribute Uu_HSDPA_Throughput_MAC is now set.

[Case 68744] A problem has been resolved that could prevent SwissQual *.sqz files from loading.

  • Actix Analyzer Update July 2012 6

    2.15 ZTE support

[Case 66572] A problem has been resolved that could cause corrupted Qualcomm messages to be decoded as GSM RR Channel Request messages, and cause Analyzer to peg spurious call drop events.

    2.16 Generic

[Case 66069] In CDMA, a new attribute CDMA_Paged_ServiceOption is now set at Page messages. Attribute CDMA_ServiceOption is only set at messages sent by / destined to the UE.

[Case 66327] Added BTC Mobile (Bulgaria) to the list of known PLMNs in the ServPLMN attribute.

  • Actix Analyzer Update July 2012 7

    3 Application layer improvements

    3.1 Spotlight

[Case 67561] In LTE, a problem has been resolved that prevented the EARFCN value from being populated in Radio Network Explorer in the Coverage tab, when selecting LTE Handset measurements.

    3.2 Stateforms

[Case 68607] Tooltip issues have been resolved in the following stateforms:

DataServiceAnalysis EVDO DL Radio Charts DataServiceAnalysis EVDO UL Radio Charts DataServiceAnalysis LTE UL Radio Charts

    3.3 Reports

[Case 61919] A problem has been resolved in the EVDO Cluster Acceptance Report that caused the target threshold values to be wrong in the report.

[Case 63713] A problem has been resolved in the UMTS Cluster Acceptance Report and UMTS Spotlight Report that could cause the voice call setup time to be reported incorrectly when the UE made concurrent PS and CS calls.
