    CLCULO DEL llENDIMIENTO DEL BULL",D,OZER---- --- - ... -.-.- --El clculo del rendimiento de un BullDozer se puede estimar a partir de las Curvas deProduccin que se muestran a continuacin y la aplicacin de los factores de correccincorrespondientes. Usando para ello la siguiente frmula:

    Produccin= (LCY/hr) = Mxima Produccin x Factores de correccin(Lm3/h)

    LCY= Yardas Cbicas de ProduccinLm3= Metros Cbicos de Produccin

    Las curvas de Produccin del Bull-Dozer nos dan el Valor Mximo de la Produccin SinCorregir utilizando cuchillas Rectas y Universales y adems consideranto las siguientescondiciones:

    La Eficiencia se considera al 100 % (60 minutos por hora de trabajo) Mquinas con velocidad de respuesta de la transmisin de .05 de minuto Longitud Mxima de acarreo del corte = 15 m., despus apilar. Densidad del Suelo= 2300 lb/LCY (1370 kg/Lm3), 3000 lb/BCY (1790 kg/Bm3) Humedad del Material= 30% ( factor de carga= 0.769 )

    CLCULO DEL RENDIMIENTO DEL BULL~DOZERProblema de Ej1emplo:Determinar el volmen de produccin por hora de un D8/8S, (con cilindro de volteo)realizando trabajos de explotacin de arciHa altamente empaquetada, considerando el acarreodel material a una distancia de 50 pies ( 45 m ) con un nivel cuesta abajo del 15%, utilizandola tcnica de garra (pendiente).El peso del material es de 2650 lb/LeY (1600 kg/m3). Las habilidades del operador sonpromedio. El tiempo efectivo de trabajo se estima en 50 minlhr.SOLUCIN.-Se calcula la mxima produccin sin corregir utilizando las grficas de produccin yconsiderando el tipo de mquina, su hoja y la distancia de tiro.Por lo anterior de la curva 8S y 1[50 pies se obtiene que la:Mxima Produccin no corregida es de: -550 LCY/hr (420 Lm3/h).

    ONTHEJOB MEASUREMENTThree generally accepted methods of measuring bulldozer production are listed below. The third method isempirical, but is the simplest to conducto1. Employing Surveying Techniquesa. Conduct time study and then cross-section the cutto determine the volume of cut material moved.

    (Production in BCY or Bm3 per unit of time)b. Conduct time study and then cross-section thefill to determine the volume of fill material. (Production in LCY or Lm3 per unit of time)2. Weighing Blade LoadsConducttime study and weight material movedby bulldozer by weighing the loader bucket loads.3. Measuring Blade Loadsa. Dozer operation(1) Pick up and carry load onto a level area andstop.(2) Raise the blade directly over the pile pullingforward slightly as blade comes up, leaving anearly symmetrical pile.(3) Reverse to clear the pile.b. Measurements

    (2) The average width (W) of the pile in feet .Hold the tape horizontally overthe pile andsight at the inside edge of each grouser markand the corresponding opposite side of the pile.(3) The greatest length (L) of the pile in feet.Hold the tape horizontally over the pile andsight at each end of the pile.c. With the above measurements, now compute theblade loado
