GENERAL INTENTION: It is th e intention of this so li citation to obtain the supervision, ex pertise, labor, mate ri als, a nd equipment for repairing the deficient hangar li ghting systems 2. LOCATION: Buildings 1 667 (W ing) and 13 1 (FRC East), (Both Hangars on "A" Stree t ). 3. DETAILED REQUIREMENTS. The Contractor shall: a. This job will require use of an intrinsically safe high reach/man-l ift for use inside th e hangars with aircraft . b. Replace the 37 hangar lights that are out (BUILDING 1667), with Gov't provided fixtures. a. Get them from 4464 (PWD warehouse on Roosevelt Boulevard) and repackage inoperative fi xt ures in original packing and return to 4464 for return to manufacturer. c. Repair the inoperative led's lights (they are 277 volt) in the south hangar bay, (BUILDING 131) ((3 Sets) of 2 lights each) a. All the inop light s are on circuit 18 b. Lights are about 30ft. above grade c. This is on an active hangar deck, with aircraft on jack stands d. All coordination shall be through th e Contracting Offi cer and FRC East d. Upon completion show proper operat ion of hangar lighting system. e. Turn all paperwork into the Contracting Officers Representative 4. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS. The co ntractor sha ll be required to: a. Coordinate a ll work and sc hedules with the Contracting Officer 's Designated Representative and the building occupants. All work pe rf ormed is estimated using the hours of 0700-1600, Mond ay through Friday. Any work performed outsi de of these periods mu st be, pr e-approved. b. Have all materials o n- site prior to co mmence me nt. c. Complete the work within ninety (90) ca lendar days after co ntract is awa rd ed. d. Use appropriate personnel protec ti ve equipment such as sa fety glasses, hard hats, hearing protection, protective clothin g, and gloves. c. The co ntractor is responsible for any required permits. f. All new materials sha ll have s ubmittals and must be submitted to the Co ntracting Offi cer and be app roved. g. All North Caro lina Building Codes, Fire Codes , Statutes, NEC, OSHA Safety Codes and the U.S . Army Corps of Engineer's Safety and Hea lth Requirements Manual, EM 385-1-1 sha ll be stri ct ly e nf orced. An accident prevention plan in acco rdance with the EM 385- 1- 1 is requ ired. h. All material associated with th e repair, replacement, or remova l is the property of the co ntractor and sha ll be removed from the Aerial Target Range and di sca rded in an approved landfill. 1. 1. GENERAL INTENTION: It is the intention of this solic itat ion to obtain the supervision, expertise, labor,

materials, and equipment for repairing the deficient hangar lighting systems

2. LOCATION: Buildings 1667 (W ing) and 13 1 (FRC East), (Both Hangars on "A" Street).

3. DETAILED REQUIREMENTS. The Contractor sha ll:

a. This job will require use of an intrinsically safe high reach/man-l ift for use inside the hangars with

aircraft.

protective c lothing, and gloves. c. The contractor is responsible for any required permits. f. All new mate rials shall have submittals and must be submitted to the Contracting Officer and be

approved . g. All North Carolina Building Codes, Fire Codes, Statutes, NEC, OSHA Safety Codes and the U.S .

Army Corps of Engineer's Safety and Health Requirements Manual, EM 385-1-1 shall be strictly enforced. An accident prevention plan in accordance with the EM 385-1- 1 is required.

h. All material associated with the repair, replacement, or removal is the property of the contractor and sha ll be removed from the Aerial Target Range and discarded in an approved landfill.
