On newer machines, this double acting solenoid was changed to a single acting solenoid. *It is recommended that if one solenoid is not firing correctly then replace all solenoids on the machine* Tools Needed: 1) Masking Tape & Pen 2) Small Straight Screw Driver 3) 2.5mm Allen Wrench 4) 3.0mm Allen Wrench 5) 70% Isopropyl Alcohol 6) Small Adjustable Wrench 7) Bowl or Small Basin

    In the older machines, the Spin guns movement up and down was controlled by a more powerful solenoid that had a larger bore internally to help the lifting of the spin gun against the internal spring. On newer machines, this double acting solenoid was changed to a single acting solenoid.

    *It is recommended that if one solenoid is not firing correctly then replace all solenoids on the machine*

    Tools Needed: 1) Masking Tape & Pen

    2) Small Straight Screw Driver

    3) 2.5mm Allen Wrench

    4) 3.0mm Allen Wrench

    5) 70% Isopropyl Alcohol

    6) Small Adjustable Wrench

    7) Bowl or Small Basin

    1) Remove the Shell of the 1V2P Machine 2) Depressurize the air compressor and disconnect Power cord on the machine. 3) Disconnect the air tubes to the machine it is recommended to replace any tube you cannot see through to ensure

    no latent oil residue still lodged in the tubes can enter the air system. 4) Remove the Double Acting Solenoid by unscrewing the 2 small Screws that mount it to the manifold 5) Install new Double acting solenoid and secure the screws. 6) Re-mount the shell to the machine and secure all screws.

    CAMS1V6P Machines 1) Remove the top cover panel of the CAMS machine (1V6P Machine). Locate and remove the 6 Phillip screws

    along the top of the machine. 2) Turn Air Switch to the OFF Position. 3) Unscrew the Double Acting Solenoid and replace with new. 4) Re-mount the top cover of the machine and secure all screws.
