It shows the lack of knowledge about sustainability accounting and reporting practices along with the barriers preventing SMEs from implementing these practices. “Next step” The findings of the desk research and the survey will be used to design an online Training Course to help SMEs understand and report on their sustainability practices in a cost-effective way.
