General Comments of Auditors: (Sharp rise/ fall in deposits /advances, abnormal transactions in staff accounts or any other abnormal happenings be commented upon using extra space if required)

1. It is observed that there is practice to accept the Stock statement and Book debts Statements given by the borrower as it is but the same should be verified by relevant documents available with borrower to ensure the genuineness.

2. More emphasis and care should be given at the time of opening of Saving account to ensure

complete in all aspect.

3. Branch should control over Cash /transfer Payments above Rs.1.00 lac, which is to be Authorised by single/double/hall in charges /BM at Branch.

4. Branch should care about Address and Mobile No. of Person who take cash payments above

Rs.0.50 lac at Branch.

5. Denomination of Cash received or paid to customer has not been entered in Finacle System of the Computer at the time of Deposition/Payment of cash. It was explained that systems have no such type configuration to keep such type of record.

6. There was difference in CBS Cash balance with ATM physical cash Balance of Rs.14500/-

since long time which should be get corrected as soon as possible by branch. 7. It is observed that Location of stock were not mentioned in the Stock statement provided by

the borrower. 8. We have observed instances of insufficient insurance coverage which is persisting in the

branch since long time. 9. At the time of Physical verification of the borrower’s unit found that None of the borrower has

fixed the name plate of the Bank mentioning that “HYPOTHECATED BY OBC BANK” at premises and godown were goods are lying.

10. It is observed that CTR Report is used to submitted by fortnightly electronically to Regional

office and Regional Inspectorate by branch. However Hard Copy was not available at Branch.

11. We have observed that, In the Branch 1 locker is used by branch itself.

Comments on the accounts sanctioned during the quarter:

(Proper appraisal, loan documentation, adherence to terms of sanction & compliance of BCC norm etc.) We have checked & verified all the documents which were sanctioned during the quarter of June 2016, we found certain irregularities like BCC not prepared, Cersai Registration, Cersai charges not debited etc., updation of Threshold Limits, Post mutuation, some irregularities were found regarding KYC compliance in saving accounts. However the most of the irregularities have been got rectified. In most of cases, copy of PAN Verification (From Income Tax Website) is not attached with Loan A/cs, Saving A/cs & Current A/cs.
