Mr. J. F. N. Green read a paper on "The Age of the ChiefIntrusions of the Lake District."

Messrs. E. E. S. Brown and A. J. Bull were appointedScrutineers, and the Ballot declared open.

The report of the Council for the year 1916 (see vol. xxviii,p. 52) was then read. It was moved by Mr. W. Johnson,seconded by Mr. H. Fleck, and duly carried, "That the Reportjust read, including the Statement of Account, be adopted asthe Annual Report of the Association for the year. 1916."
