• Hotař A.: The possibility to use iron aluminide Fe28Al4Cr0.1Ce in glass industry, International Conference Junior Euromat, 2002 Lausanne, The Federation of European Materials Societies, Lausanne, vícarsko, 2002. Fe3Al - based iron aluminides are structural materials characterised by low material cost, low density, and excellent oxidation and sulfidation resistance. Corrosion resistance properties of iron aluminides may enable their use as structural elements in glass making. Already in 1950´s the Fe40Al1C alloy (FeAl type) was tested in Czech Republic for corrosion resistance in molten glass. Results of corrosion resistance were very good, but low room-temperature ductility, bad machinability and big content of carbon stopped further tests. However, recently these disadvantages were improved using other types of iron aluminides (Fe3Al) with low carbon content and suitable alloying (cerium, chromium). Proper hot rolling and thermal treatment is also necessary. Good oxidation and sulfidation resistance opened new possibilities to use this material in glass industry for example as elements for homogenisation of molten glass, elements of recuperators and parts of heat elements. First experiments were carried out concerning the interaction of Fe28Al4Cr0,1Ce alloy with molten glass using static and dynamic corrosion tests in soda-potash glass and in lead crystal (24%PbO). The behaviour was compared with austenitic and ferritic steel.

Relief on ultrathin sections, Marcel Dekker, Inc., New York, USA, 2002, ISSN 0022-2348. Ultrathin sectioning, one of the types of specimen preparations for transmission electron microscopy (TEM), has been considered as the most perfect sectioning techniques leading to the thinnest sections (50100 nm). Following a study based on a newly developed low-voltage TEM technique, a relief on the ultrathin sections of polymer blends was observed which was ascribed to substantial differences in mechanical properties of the blend constituents (1). In this study, an analogous relief was observed with a blend, the constituents of which are both hard in cutting. The origin of the surface relief on ultrathin sections of polymer blends was sought using low-voltage scanning transmission electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy. Polycarbonate/styrene-co-acrylonitrile blend was examined as a representative of blends with all components well under Tg at room temperature. A distinct surface relief was observed on both ultrathin sections and remaining cut surfaces of the blend for both low-temperature and room-temperature cutting. A rougher surface relief was found on the ultrathin sections than on the remaining cut surfaces. The surface relief was assumed to occur in the course of the cutting when extensive shearing occurs. Correspondence of the surface relief with the phase structure proves the influence of different mechanical behaviour of individual blend components on the resulting morphology.

The electron energy and density of the H2 plasma measured by Langmuir probe and OES techniques was confirmed to play an important role for formation of special structures of the sputtered metal thin films and therefore for the structure and for the adjustment of CNTs. During the pretreatment etching process the roughness of the surface changed in dependence on plasma power and pretreatment time. Without plasma it is impossible to prepare aligned tubes. Otherwise the plasma power must reached a critical value for formation of aligned structures. The dependence of the plasma parameters on the growth of tubes have been discussed. Effect of the vibration insulation is to minimize this transfer. The machine is supported by elastic stays, for example constructed as metal or rubber or air springs. They are parallel connected so that have accordant moments of forces to lengthwise and cross axis of the frame of machine. Such elastic lodgment make possible to modulate the oscillation of machine on the frame so as be the dynamic forces into building small and the movement of machine relatively too. For design of the elastic lodgment was created by author computational program, that is disposal at the Technical University of Liberec.

A lot of weaving machines, when running are the source of broad-band noise nad vibrations. One possible way of removing these unfavorable influences on the environment and especially on human beings, is an pneumatic support. Here, air and rubber springs are inserted between the frame of machines and the floor. Under these conditions the transmission of vibration transferred to the floor declines, along with the level of noise. The dynamic characteristics of a machine placed on this elastic base differ somewhat from those of weaving machine fixed to the floor with an usual firm support. For checking of vibratory movement of the couple of weaving machines we use visualization by means of measuring of operation deflection shapes.

Cutter, 32. mezinárodní konfernce a výstava NDT techniky - DEFEKTOSKOPIE 2002, ČNDT, Brno, Czech Republic, 2002, 80-214-2247-5. The submited article concerns by experimental investigation of the acoustic emission signal behaviour during the milling in relations with cutting edge wear by means of amplitude analysis of the sensed signal. The results obtained from realized experiments confirm advantages of the using of the acoustic emission method, notwithstanding to difficulties in the course of sensed signal data processing. Acoustic emission appears as very available method for machining process monitoring.

• ika, J.: Identificaton ot the cutting tool state by means of acoustic emission signal processed by neuronal network, Moderní metody ve strojírenském vývoji, LENAM, Liberec, Czech Republic, 2002. The acoustic emissin method apear as very perspective mainly for the tool wear monitoring, because the fundamental substance is directly connected with a deformation accompanying chip creation. Frpm the realized experiment following, that useing of neuronal networks is well-founded, especially in case of some less claer AE signals. Development of an optimal network and its training can be an active element of both an intelligent cutting tool and/or machinig tool in future.

Modern machine tools are developed in direction to full automation, in order to work with minimum part of human service. Therefore it is necessary to deal with detailed study and understanding phenomenona which the process of chip formation accompanying. In the submitted contribution is shown an experimental scrutiny of the acoustic emission signal behaviour during milling by means of a face-mill fitted with the single insert. experiments confirm possibility, that the AE signal could be the one from sensed signals. The AE signal can gives sufficiently detailed information about the cutting process state.

• ika J., Prukner V., Ogawa D., Sumiya H., Shiraishi M.: Neuronal Network for Tool Wear Monitoring on the Acoustic Emission Signal Basis, 25th European Conference on Acoustic Emission Testing EWGAE 2002, ČNDT, Brno, Czech Republic, 2002, 80-214-2174-6. The acoustic emission (AE) phenomenon is very often used for the monitoring of cutting tool state. It seems that, the most sensitive and the informative component of the AE signal is its amplitude, because the magnitude of amplitudes carrying information about energetic processes taking place in the area of the chip forming. By the other words, amplitudes of AE signal carrying information from the cutting area where new surface of a machined component just originates. Monitoring of AE signal is important because the quality of the new surface depends before anything else on the cutting edge state and therefore the state of the cutting edge stands in the centre of the interest of research. Previous good experience with the AE signal amplitude distribution into a number of energetic levels for the cutting tool wear monitoring brings to idea to use frequency of occurrence of AE signal impulses from the particular energetic levels for processing these data by a neural network. This approach to use the neuronal network for data processing after prior distribution into ten energetic levels brings promising results.

The thesis is aimed at irregularity of the tension forces of assembled yarns on the automatic winding machine. If the problem is not eliminate than at follow up twisting can become at looping of assembled yarn. In the experimental part the measuring of tension forces during the unwinding of yarn from pattern is accomplished. Analysis device for regulation with view to attain difference of tension forces of assembled yarns was the main target. It was executed several possible solutions. Each design has its own mathematical model for the entry tension forces calculation. When composing the model, the values obtained in the experimental part were used for the marginal conditions. Every variants was followed on achievement minimum difference between the output tension forces behind regulation device and it was devised optimum solution.

• Beran J.,Kracík V.,Tuma L.: Dynamic Model of Yarn Unwinding on the Automatic Winding Machine, International Conference on Structural Dynamics Modelling, International Conference on Structural Dynamics Modelling, Madeira Island, Portugal, 2002, 621-628. In this paper the mathematical model of the unwinding process in nonstationary balloon is investigated. This model describes the whole unwinding process from starting of yarn motion up to stationary motion. The yarn is represented by a chain made up of small straight segments having equal length connected at the ends by spherical joints. Lagranges equations of yarn motion are derived with following assumptions. The yarn is perfectly flexible and the yarn mass per unit length is constant throughout its length. The air drag is assumed to act in the direction opposite to the component of the yarn velocity normal to the threadline. The air drag coefficient is assumed to be constant along the whole length of the ballooning yarn. Model is used for the development of computer program and enables computer simulation.

Conference on Structural Dynamics Modelling, Madeira Island, Portugal, 2002, 621-620. The present study is concerned with the dynamic analysis of the shedding mechanism that consists of a relatively long kinematic chain including a number of non-linearities that bring about undesirable impacts in the mechanism. The study presents a shedding mechanism of a new principle, eliminating the lateral shift guiding of the healds, and with a rectilinear movement of the healds provided by direct joint guiding.

In this article a computational model for optimisation of the device for the regulation of the tensile forces in doubled yarns during the winding process on automatic cross-winding machines is described. The devised equipment makes use of two comb tensioners, interconnected mechanically. The stationary mathematical model of this device is used for predicting design characteristic. The optimisation is aimed to achieve approximately equal values of the tensile forces in the two doubled yarns on the output of tensioners with satisfying geometrical and technological restrictions . The theoretical results have been verified on a real mechanism using measuring of lengths of the doubled yarns, which were winding on the package.

• Mrázek J.: The dynamics of the Knitting Machine Device Drive, 4.Mezinárodní konference TRANSFER 2002, TU of Trenčín, Trenčín, Slovakia, 2002, ISBN 80-88914-75-2. The contribution deals with the mechanical stress of the device driving mechanism of the ANGE12 low-diameter knitting machine. The dynamic analysis is carried out with the help of the mathematic model constructed with the help of the Lagrange equation of the 2nd kind. The designed model respects the influence of tooth clearances, the flexible bindings between the individual wheels, the weight parameters, the different character of system start-up and the influence of the needle and slider systems. The as the outcome we obtained the behaviours of kinematic quantities as well as moments of force at individual system elements, which are used for stress determination and dynamic behaviour of the system.

The study is concerned with an analysis of the influence of the mass of the system of healds upon the behaviour of the weaving loom. A special attention is given to the analysis of the load exerted upon the shedding mechanism. The present study solves the problems in question in the theoretical field devising a mathematical model able to describe the problems to be solved adequately. The study shows the way how to lower the overall dynamic load upon the individual parts of the weaving loom by reducing the weight of the heald. The reduction is achieved by the mass optimisation of the shape of the heald, in order to obtain a more suitable shape of this component, but observing the submitted optimisation criteria.

The paper shows survey of the dynamic error at interpolation and standard methods of its compensation (velocity and acceleration feedforward). Besides of that standard method the effect of setting velocity regulator is discussed. The results were generated from computer simulation in Matlab/Simulink and verified by measuring on CNC vertical machining centre with electric linear motors.

• Skalla J.: The quadrant error at circular interpolation, Elektrické pohony a výkonová elektronika EPVE 2002, FEI VUT in Brno, Brno, Czech Republic, 2002, ISBN 80-214-2246-7. The friction in servomechanisms of NC machine tool axis causes the contour error in the quadrants of circle and its compensation is relatively difficult. The paper shows origins, dependence on servo parameters and possibility of compensation of this error. The results were generated by computer simulation of electrical linear drive in Matlab Simulink.

The article deals with the elaboration of the simulation model of the servodrive with positional rotational motor of NC machine tool axis. Special attention is given to nonlinear elements and analysis of backlash, friction and stiffness and its influence on generation of non-linear oscillation.
