Research into content base for TA My target audience is primarily aimed at sporty people aged between 15 and 30. After putting a lot of research in to my TA, I established the majority of them are based around the southern parts of England. A lot are based in areas surrounding London and London itself. This is good as it’s also a highly populated area which increases sales and word about the advert I shall be producing. Also, people aged between 15 and 30 will find 60-90 seconds promotional videos a lot more appealing if they have a variety of products on board to show, which mine will. Many websites and surveys say that any longer than 45 seconds, you’re at danger of losing your audience’s attention resulting in them switching off. This is a dilemma I’ll either need to face on and produce one that long or try and find a way around that and find what videos which are a minute long do in order to keep their audience focused. Ways in which they do this are by keeping it at a high tempo, show a variety of ideas and scenes, add music and a soundtrack which keeps them excited, make them feel involved in the advert and finally by making them feel as if they could see them self-wearing or using the product your advertising. You need to detail exactly what content is in your advert and how that is appropriate!!

My target audience is primarily aimed at sporty people aged between 15 and 30. After putting a lot

of research in to my TA, I established the majority of them are based around the southern parts of

England. A lot are based in areas surrounding London and London itself. This is good as it’s also a

highly populated area which increases sales and word about the advert I shall be producing. Also,

people aged between 15 and 30 will find 60-90 seconds promotional videos a lot more appealing if

they have a variety of products on board to show, which mine will. Many websites and surveys say

that any longer than 45 seconds, you’re at danger of losing your audience’s attention resulting in

them switching off. This is a dilemma I’ll either need to face on and produce one that long or try and

find a way around that and find what videos which are a minute long do in order to keep their

audience focused.

Ways in which they do this are by keeping it at a high tempo, show a variety of ideas and scenes, add

music and a soundtrack which keeps them excited, make them feel involved in the advert and finally

by making them feel as if they could see them self-wearing or using the product your advertising.
