  • • Multiplication: Master how to multiply a 4 digit number by a 1 digit. Ask your adult to challenge you! For example, 2853 x 4 = or 6317 x 8

    • Now try a 3 digit by a 1 digit division calculation, e.g. 356 ÷ 5 = Try a 4 digit by a 1 digit if you think you can!

    • Practise your subtraction skills – subtracting two 4 digit numbers. Challenge yourself to subtract two 5 digit numbers with exchange!

    • Choose a times table and practise chanting it out loud before writing it down.

    • Find out when the Anglo-Saxons arrived in Britain and why?

  • • Design and make an Anglo-Saxon shield.

  • • Create a poster advising people how to avoid Financial Risk. Research and find a definition for what ‘financial risk’ means. In your poster, include the following vocabulary: money, investment, gain, interest, risk, bankrupt, inflation and value.

    • Write a letter to yourself explaining how you are going to look after any money you might receive i.e. as a gift/ present or earn when you are old enough to have a job. For instance, why might it be a good idea to open a savings account and how often will you save? Consider also what you might spend your money on?

  • • Create your own dance routine - have a look at Contemporary dance routines online to show the feelings of Arthur from ‘Arthur High King of Britain’
