Online Databases: use my portaportal site: www.portatportal.com Type “ms226library” in “Guest Access”. I recommend Grolier.
What is the 226Q CCD collection?
The Cooperative Collection Development, or “CCD”, collection at 27Q226 will be used in these Science lessons. The CCD collection is a large group of books and videos about pets and wild creatures of the air, land and sea, and the environments they live in. The Animals CCD collection offers a wide variety of reading levels, has a wealth of illustrations and subjects, and has many individual titles and sets of specific wildlife encyclopedias. The collection contains over 3000 volumes. The purpose of the collection is to help children learn about the living environment while motivating them to read and discover the living planet they inhabit.
