FORKLIFTSAFETY DEVICE

OE Attachment’s Forklift Safety Device (FLSD) is a safety solution engineered to prevent forklift-related accidents, injuries, and property damage by providing real-time monitoring and safety alerts well before accidents occur. Using a patent pending system of sensors and cameras installed onto the forklift, all data is transmitted back to the driver via a touchscreen monitor mounted in the forklift cab or can be integrated using an existing video panel. The screen will instantly alert the driver if a safety hazard is imminent, allowing ample time to take corrective action. In addition, the unit can provide telematics to transmit other types of data where as needed.

FORKLIFT SAFETY DEVICE OPERATOR FEATURES INCLUDE:

» Dynamically calculates and displays residual load capacity while stationary or in motion (patent pending technology).

» Real-time status of the speed, load and residual capacity of the vehicle.

» Monitors, senses, and responds to external dynamic factors including acceleration, speed, ground slope, load center, mast position, and other conditions. This information, plus checklist, operating maintenance location and proximity data can be transmitted via Wi-Fi, GPS, and cellular network capability.

» Ultrasonic sensing for falloff. Pedestrian and vehicle proximity alerts.

» Enhanced visibility. Forklift cameras can provide additional sightlines.

» Video and audio output provides vehicle status information to the operator.

The FLSD calculates dynamic load and tipping moment, providing the operator with speed, load, and residual capacity as conditions change. Indications and warnings occur as speed, height, load, and vehicle position are modified versus a static warning at a fixed load center.

The Forklift Safety Device offers a full suite of features and functionality. The system dynamically calculates residual load capacity which is fed to the operator’s 7” touchscreen display or integrated existing display along with the video feed from the camera. It also features a patent pending sensor data gateway, pressure management, security features, and more. New features will be added in future versions; upgrades to current versions will be backwards compatible.
