Resignation as Vice Chair and an Officer of the

Board

For the Attention of the Board

It is with great regret that following consistent and undue pressure from the Chair of the organization. In order to prevent undue stress, and the effects on my mental health I’ve taken the move of resigning as the Vice Chair of the Organization. I am forced to step down as an officer of the Board.

One of the key causes of undue stress has certainly been the undue discrimination I have felt as an unsympathetic Director to our Chair. My hope is that as I take a less prominent role that attention will shift elsewhere.

I sincerely enjoy the work that I do, and will be looking forward to dedicating more service to the Organization.

I will be remaining as an elected Director of the Board of Capital Pride, and I will also remain as the Chair of the Communications Standing Committee, and the Media Ad Hoc Committee. It’s important that these transitions have as little public impact as possible. I will however, also be offering my resignation from the Finance Committee, and the Pageant Committee. In order to focus on ensuring that our media coverage, and francaphone coverage is comprehensive, it’s important that I focus my time and effort.

I will also remain as the Director sponsoring the Arts programming, the 30 Year Anniversary, and remain as Chair of the Site Relocation Committee. These are very dear to me. I shall also continue as the Point of Board contact and organizer for the Nature Nocturn: Pride, and the Capital Pride Comedy Cruise. I’ll also be supporting our Educational Coordinator in her organizing the GLBT+ Conference. Finally, I’ll also be working to complete the Mobile Application for the benefit of Pride.
