Project Mwana has improved by over 50 the turn-around time for delivering early infant diagnosis HIV results back to rural and underserved communities in Zambia and Malawi Community Health Workers also register births and trace patients via SMS to ensure that they receive key childhood interventions There is an agreement in both countries to scale these successful pilots nationwide
Results160 gets early infant diagnosis of HIV test results from the central labs back to the clinics faster by sending them straight to the phones of clinic workers via SMS
RemindMi is a birth registration patient tracing and communication tool for clinic and community health workers

Whenever large numbers of people are forced to move whether fleeing a natural disaster or a political crisis children get lost and families are separated Organiza-tions such as unicef the International Red Cross and Save The Children work hard to reunite these families through a process called Family Tracing and Reunifica-tion or FTR
RapidFTR is an open source mobile application and data storage system designed to streamline and speed up FTR efforts both in the immediate aftermath of a crisis and during ongoing recovery efforts by making it easy for registered case-workers to collect edit update search and share child information RapidFTR has been built by a volunteer community led by unicef
