Principal’s Message

We are very excited to announce our new permanent teacher Mr Eric Thorsby who will be commencing at

Redhead Public School in 2019. Mr Thorsby is coming with many amazing skills and expertise and has a

love of sport and technology. He is very excited to meet all students, staff and community.

This week I have had the pleasure of interviewing students who have applied to be a part of our 2019 student

leadership team. Lily Crockett, Jack Miller and I enjoyed talking with Year 5 students and finding out about

their journey and experiences at Redhead Public School. It was a wonderful experience with many laughs

and enjoyable stories.

Our Assistant Principals attended professional learning last Thursday around the changing role of an

Assistant Principal and working as part of a collegial team to improve school practices and abide by

department policies and procedures.

2019 Kindy Club is coming to a close soon. It has been a very positive experience for parents and our new

Kindergarten students in ensuring a smooth transition to school.

As the end of the year comes to a close students are becoming unsettled and very excited about the holidays.

We have reminded students of our school’s high expectations and values of Respect, Inspire, Succeed. Mrs

Lisa Monaghan

Phillips, Meika Hain, Adeline Metteer, Ayla Little, Natalia Muller, Eve Muddle, Avalon Morton and Layla Clare
