I started the journey in Aerospace field as an attachment student at SAESL in 2014 just after the completion of all the academic semesters of Diploma in Aerospace engineering at Republic Polytechnic Singapore. I as an attachment student, worked for the quality and safety department of SAESL that provides repair, maintenance and overhaul services for Rolls Royce Trent engine operators globally. My duties include assisting in daily QE duties and doing several ad-hoc projects under supervision. Working at SAESL enabled me to create lot professional relationships and expose myself to bigger challenges and responsibilities that broadened my horizons and gave me a head start in launching a career in this fast-growing and dynamic field.

Some of my key responsibilities including, but not limited to;
Assist quality engineers to conduct internal audits, first article inspections and joint inspections.
Guide authorization stamp holders to take Computer Based Assessments. Issue authorization certificates to certifying staff once they are approved by the
general manager of the Quality department and update the SAESL database. Assist the continuous improvement department to implement the 6S system that is
been followed at SAESL. Create and update several different excel sheets, presentations, yellow belt projects
and other documents for use by the department Head and other quality engineers. Check and verify if the calibration venders that provide services to SAESL are
approved by the original equipment manufacturer against certificates and letter issued to them.
Conduct 6S weekly audit every week in the quality department and update the quality visual board.
Extract the authority requirements on certifying staff in maintenance organization expositions of all the authorities that are applicable to SAESL that we do the servicing of their engines for.
Assist quality engineers to interview staff prior to issuing authorization certificates. Create annual audit performance reports of quality engineers or auditors in the
quality department and do analysis of findings by them. Training new QE to process Authorization applications and on computer based
assessment guidance.

I started the journey in ICT as a Skip tracer at Q excess (Pvt) Ltd in year 2011 just after the completion of Cambridge Advanced Level examinations. As a team member of the skip tracing section I helped as a professional investigator for my company in the process of locating people who have fraud credit card companies in the US and Canada. I was able to successfully complete a research work on a study of Noise control around airports and in aviation. Major valuable experience that I was exposed to is working in a project to achieve goals under pressure with less team members.
