RESUMEThe reason why I want to join a field trip organized by SPE STT Migas Balikpapan , because we knew that we rarely visit or go directly to the oil industry , and to gain learning experience , especially experience directly in the oil industry in the PT.Pertamina Sanga Sanga , saw the object that we see only in books but with this field trip we can see , hear , may also develop what we get in college to go directly there and make what is learned in college is more relevant to thefact the field like how the rig works , see the working process of the petroleum experts who were there. And therefore by following a field trip organized by the SPE program is certainly not to be missed so wrote because experience is the best teacher we will be remembered throughout life and experiences will make us at least understand the importance that fell directly in the field will make us open view of the material presented is not limited to faculty and college books.As far as we know PT.Pertamina EP gained the trust of the government and shareholders to manage the working area of 113,613.90 km2 based oil and gas contracts with Pertamina SKKMIGAS on September 17 , 2005. Working area for the management of Pertamina EP implement an operation pattern itself (own operation) and some cooperation partnership oil and gas development projects namely 4 , 7 and 52 unitization area partnership contract area consists of 27 contracts Technical Assistant contract ( TAC ) , 25 contracts Joint Operation ( JO ) . When viewed from a range of geographic , Pertamina EP operates in almost all parts of Indonesia , from Sabang to Merauke .Company working area is divided into several Asset , one of which is the region Sangasanga . PT . Pertamina EP began managing Samboja Sangasanga Field since October 15, 2008 ( previously managed by PT . Medco E & P Indonesia ) , namely by maintaining production levels by reactivating old wells that were closed temporarily . This program is known as wells reactivation program , which is then followed by a planned drilling development wells in both fields .Pertamina EP Field Work Area Sangasanga be in 3 districts ( District of Sangasanga , Anggana and District Samboja ) which includes the area of Kutai regency whose capital is Tenggarong City .The number of wells that are still active until December 2010 as many as 92 wells , which consists of : Area Samboja were 26 wells , consisting of 24 oil wells and 2 gas wells South Mahakam area as much as 33 wells , consisting of 32 oil wells and 1 gas well Northern Mahakam area , 47 wells , consisting of 46 oil wells and 1 gas well .
