Key Accomplishments : o Played a key role in the migration from Quickbooks to QAD. Ensured all standard cost elements were accurately loaded and

maintained in the new ERP system. Became well-versed in QAD workflows and prepared key procedures for the Operations team including the work order process, purchase order process, cycle counts and annual physical, subcontract manufacturing process, product structure (BOM) maintenance, routing maintenance, and alternate BOMs and Routings. Trained the Materials and Operations team on their manufacturing menus in QAD. Post “go-live” (and as part of my daily routine now), review and approve Document Change Orders in Omnify, and cross-reference to QAD to ensure BOMs and routing operations are accurately loaded.

o Finance lead for transferring a portion of manufacturing operations to Costa Rica. Created flowcharts for the new processes and provided guidance on the implications in QAD. Assisted Operations management with consolidating product structures and routing operations of multiple parts in QAD. Prepared detailed explanations for method variances, and updated margin calculations based on the manufacturing split between U.S. and Costa Rica.

o Responsible for implementing CapMx (web-based equity system). Loaded historical equity transactions and reconciled to both the general ledger and the attorney records. Configured CapMx to accurately calculate and forecast stock compensation expense (ASC718). Prepared procedures for GL accountants and trained staff.

o Currently project manager for implementation of Wavemark (“field based” inventory management system that automates “field” trunk stock sales, cycle counts, inventory transfers, and demo/training dispositions). Provided “fit-the-business” analysis to determine which customizations would be required in Wavemark, and worked diligently with implementation consultants to troubleshoot coding bugs. Prepared validation test scripts, and once executed, will be responsible for training Customer Service and Operations on the procedures related to Wavemark.

o Developed a detailed capital BVA reporting model in excel that met internal management needs, as well as reporting requirements for Corporate. Improved efficiency by no longer maintaining two separate capital files. Consolidated the two files into one and was able to link each tab to a single source tab.

o Project leader for implementation of iPurchase (web-based procurement requisition system) and integration with QAD. Worked diligently with consultants to customize iPurchase to meet business needs. Responsible for accurate set up of employee profiles, approval workflows, and purchasing rules in iPurchase. Prepared and executed validation test scripts to ensure purchase requisitions were properly loading into QAD’s Purchase Order Maintenance. Prepared all training material, and conducted training for 400+ employees. Improved purchase requisition approval time from an average of 10 days, down to 4 days. Additional efficiency was gained due to Buyers no longer having to enter the purchase requisition data into QAD (it automatically pushed from iPurchase).

o Responsible for implementation of Vertex (sales tax software) and integration with QAD. Within Vertex, responsible for setting up nexus by state and city, and entering tax exempt products by state. In QAD, responsible for setting up geocodes (which were the primary mapping mechanism between Vertex and QAD). Prepared and executed validation test scripts to ensure sales tax was properly calculating on customer invoices in QAD. Ran monthly updates to Vertex, which would update QAD with the most current tax rates.

o Responsible for implementation of Equity Edge (stock compensation software). Entered and maintained employee profiles, new hires, option grants, RSU grants, vesting schedules, exercises, terminations and cancellations. Set up Black Scholes assumptions and calculated annual forfeiture rate. Prepared quarterly stock comp expense calculation in Equity Edge, and generated supporting documentation for journal entry postings to the GL. Calculated taxable spreads related to ISO disqualifying dispositions and NSO exercises.
