• Level 1 Certification

- Certification between POS retailer and their certified TPP

- Includes run of script used in Level 2

- Ensures POS is capable of running all transactions without issue

- Performed in POS providers’ lab

- Includes processor (CDP) and State representatives

- Includes QA contractor

- Typically lasts 2-3 days

- Includes complete run of script for all test scenarios

- Processor and QA contractor recommend Pass/Fail of certification

- If certification fails, corrections must be proven prior to final Level 2 Certification

- Live production test with live card

- Includes purchases and voids

- End-to-End test which includes transaction settlement

• Stand Beside Systems- FIS provides installation support and training - Includes Install Guide, POS User Manual, and Quick Reference Card- Retailer Help Desk support available after install

• Stores are responsible for any WIC policy related training

• Retailers are surveyed to determine system needs

• Contracting for equipment and processing is completed

• Pilot includes both Integrated and Stand Beside systems

• Retailers need to be ready ahead of clinic rollout
