Religious Education classes for Grade K-9th grade are cancelled for April 5 (Easter Sunday). The Ladies Auxiliary will meet Tuesday, April 7th at 2:00 PM in the church hall. The Knights of Columbus will meet Tuesday, April 7th at 7:15 PM in the church hall. Choir Practice is held every Wednesday at 4:00 PM. Our Parish Council will meet Wednesday, April 8th at 7:00 PM in the church hall. The Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be said in Church at 2:30 PM on Sunday, April 12th, which is ‘Sunday of Divine Mercy’. Please join us. Lou Hinds our Pastoral Council Chair belongs to a men’s Barbershop Chorus known as “The Peninsulaires”. On Sat., April 11th, they will hold their annual show - you are invited to attend. Please see Bulletin insert for info. You can pre-purchase tickets from Lou Hinds. Bible Study Sign-Up: Psalms 2 Bible Study will start on April 15, 2015. It will be the second study of the Psalms, but is independent of the first. It is not necessary to have attended the first in order to attend this one. It Is more of a prayer experience than a study. Homework consists of looking up scripture verses, not answering questions. Deepen your love of scripture by expanding your insight through them. It will be an 8-week study ending on June 3, 2015. See Trish Harmon, Ann Page or Dom Sollitto. The Knights of Columbus will “Kick Off” their “Membership Drive” the weekend of April 11-12, 2015. Rice Bowl Contributions: A receptacle for the Rice Bowls and envelopes will be in the foyer this Easter Sunday, as well as next Sunday. Thank you for your generosity. The Ladies Auxiliary of the Eastern Shore #6963 is offering an annual scholarship to High School seniors who are confirmed members of St. Andrew, St. Charles or St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Churches. In order to qualify, the applicant must attend a college, university or recognized trade school in the Fall of 2015. The Knights of Columbus have available the Paul Braunstein Scholarship/Grant monies for the Youth of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church that are planning to attend college in the fall. If your parents are registered here and you have an interest in applying for Scholarship/Grant monies, the applications are available in the Church office. Applications must be submitted to the Church office by May 22, 2015. The Msgr. Mickle Council of the Knights of Columbus, Cape Charles will present a Scholarship Award of $500 to a deserving High School Senior. Applicants must be residents of the Eastern Shore and confirmed members of St. Charles, St. Peters or St. Andrews Catholic Churches. Applicants must have been accepted to a University, College, Community College or Technical School for the Fall Term of 2015 to qualify. Applications are due April 15, 2015.
