Welcome to the Odyssey Book 9 Adventure game! In this game you play as Odysseus, and must use your knowledge of the Odyssey Book 9 story to escape the cyclops!

Use these arrows to navigate the world.

Use these targets to pick up or activate nearby objects.

You rest until morning...

You have already slept! Go explore!

You wade into the sea, oblivious to the giant sea serpent swimming in the nearby waters. He takes notice of you however, and things do not end well. You are Dead...

The nymphs have flushed out some mountain goats for you and your men to feast on! Return to shore and celebrate the fine food!

Ignoring the rocks below, you bravely step off the cliff with the hope that you would somehow reach the shores of the island in the distance. You reach the jagged rocks at the base of the cliff instead...You are dead.

You should return to the shore!

You return to shore and prepare the goats for eating...

You feast well into the night. As dawn comes, you prepare to set off for the main land...

You are about to step foot into the land of the cyclops. You may choose one thing to bring with you. What would you like to bring?

You show your true gluttony as you devour the entire contents of the shelf. No one is here to convince you to leave, so you eat and eat until nightfall.

You and your men set aside the wine and lose yourselves on the various meats, cheeses, and milk that populate the shelf. Captivated by the various foods you ignore their pleas to leave. Soon, night falls.

Dropping your weapons, you and your men begin to gather the vast amounts of food you see on the shelf. Your men want to leave, taking the food with them. You, however, are content with eating everything right here.

Oh no! You stayed too long! The Cyclops has returned home with his sheep. Not only that, but he has blocked the doorway with a large boulder! What will you do?!

You tried to run away, however, as quick as you were you could not move the boulder blocking your escape. With sharp teeth and an empty stomach the Cyclops looms over you. You are dead...

You and your men attack the Cyclops, swinging your swords with all your might. The beast is too strong, however, and you are soon defeated. You are dead...

The Cyclops lunges at you and your men, gobbling up two of them without remorse. It was quick and bloody. What will you do now?

Offering the Cyclops your wine to wash down the men he just gobbled up, he begins to lose himself in the drink. In his stupor, the Cyclops asks for your name. How will you reply?

Odysseus!

Nobody!

Odysseus, Raider of cities! You reply, and with that, the Cyclops lumbers off to bed. Now what?

For some reason you decide to wake up the cyclops. He does not like being woken up. You are dead...

Youve done it! The Cyclops is now blind! With a deafening roar he makes his way to the main chamber, screaming for help...

The Cyclops calls out to his friends, Odysseus is killing me!!! They quickly open the cave door and find you. You are Dead.

The Cyclopss calls go unanswered, as he screams Nobodys killing me! You laugh as he rushes and opens the cave door, waiting for you to try and escape.

The Cyclops easily finds you despite being blind. He calls to his freinds excitedly, and they quickly make a meal of you and your men. You are Dead.

You decide that the sheep are your best chance of escape. Clinging to the underside of the largest ram, you are able to escape when the Cyclops feels the tops of the sheep as they leave the cave to graze, but not the bottom!
