HOW IT WORKS?• Problems are provided to students in each topic and they can choose what they want to do.•Once completed, students self score the questions using red pens and answers that have been provided and pointed for them• Students keep track of their points in each category until they reach a minimum number of points.

MASTERY• Once a student earns the minimum number of points in a

category, students complete a question for mastery that is graded by the teacher. If the student does not get a 4/4 then they must complete additional questions that are teacher graded.• 2 or 3 out of 4 – 1 extra questions• 0 or 1 out of 4 – 2 extra questions

• This is then recorded in the grade book.

MULTIPLE CHOICE• Multiple Choice was mixed up by topic and difficulty level in groups of 5.

• Given as a warm-up in class each day and teacher scored.

• One point was given for each correct answer

• In order to earn back ½ of the points missed, students needed to write a 2 sentence response about why their answer was wrong and the correct answer was right.
