Rewrite the sentences into reported

speech, remember we use different

introductory verbs and do different

changes depending whether the

sentences are statements, commands,

suggestions or questions:

1. I love ice-cream, mydaughter said.

2. I will help you with yourexam preparation, my father

said.

3. Dont be late, my mothersaid.

4. Why dont we make an advertfor our school?, Peter said.

5. Ive been to Paris twice,Mary said

6. Lets have a break!, Johnsaid.

7. Do you want a cup ofcoffee?, my grandmother

offered.

8. When will the concertbegin?, Peter asked Mary.
