A job is assigned to a detailer using RGS TrackMate, along with a planned end date.

When the job is finished, the detailer uses the RGS TrackMate interface to upload the finished

drawings along with the bar list. RGS TrackMate automatically reads the files to be uploaded,

RGS TrackMate divides each project into various releases - namely foundation, first floor,

second floor etc., and stores them along with their estimated weight. This is known as a

sequence in which the elements are entered can be changed at any point of time, but it

must reflect the actual construction sequence. This helps all the team members of a job

When the planned date of detailing is entered, RGS TrackMate checks this date with the

material delivery date, and issues warnings if the detailing completion date does not give

enough time for engineer review, fabrication, and finally the supply of materials to the

customer.

RGS TrackMate monitors possible ISSUES under categories like material list, detailing

You can also specify how these Alerts are to be sent - once a day as a consolidated list, or

as and when an issue occurs.

You can save different types of issues under a name, and reload the required settings later

to find out specific issues.

Issues on specific jobs can be identified by using the multiple filtering options, by setting

different criteria on different fields. For example, you can view the current issues on any

specific job.

RGS TrackMate allows you to upload and keep track of revisions easily. When any revised

contract documents are uploaded, it prompts the detailer to choose the placing drawingscontract documents are uploaded, it prompts the detailer to choose the placing drawings

that are affected by the revision.

Until those affected drawings are identified, the status of the uploaded revision is displayed

as “Action not yet Taken” in the revisions page. And as soon as the affected placing

drawings are identified, the status is changed, and the old drawings are discarded and

made unavailable for download.

An entry for the next revision is automatically made in the re-submittal schedule page, and

the detailer has to only enter the planned date of incorporating the revisions and submitting

those drawings.

The Inbox provides a preview of all the relevant activities in RGS

TrackMate. It displays the number of new, unread, and updated documents and

correspondences. A double click on the number takes you to the relevant document.

The Inbox can be minimized and set to refresh within a specific time interval, say, once in

5, 10 or 15 minutes, so that the latest and most updated information is always available.

The ‘Jobs Preview’ page provides a quick picture of the status of the current projects. The

contract weight, plan weight to be detailed, detailed weight, delayed weights to date, and

the remaining weights to be detailed etc. are displayed for all the jobs. Most importantly,

The information displayed has links to other pages, enabling you to drill down and view the

details. The placing drawing log in RGS TrackMate is self-explanatory. Each drawing has a

corresponding bar list linked to it, which enables you to view the bar list information.

The information is available in two forms - placing drawing history displays all the

revisions, while the placing drawing latest displays only the latest revisions of the placing

drawings. Placing drawings can be grouped by releases and display

Automatic Transmittal feature, which allows you upload AutoCAD and MicroStation placing

drawings automatically. While uploading drawings using this feature, the user need not type

drawing details on the transmittal sheet. RGS TrackMate automatically reads the drawing to

1. Enter the breakdown of release weights right at the start of the job.

2. Enter the Rebar delivery dates for each release, as and when they become

available.

3. For each revision made to the structural drawing, enter the estimated weight that is

to be added to or removed from the original contract weight.

4. To enable auto title block reading, use a customized title block for placing drawings.

Once it is customized for the first time, you can use the same title block on any job,

and in any number of drawings.

5. Ensure that all communication happens through RGS

TrackMate.

6. Run a data integrity report everyday and ensure that data

DATA STORAGE



RGS TrackMate stores all important project related information - like drawings,

project schedules, bar lists etc. This data is stored on a common secured

database server.

For larger storage requirements, we offer a dedicated database server, which

can connect to RGS TrackMate through an RGS TrackMate application server.

This way, the data is doubly protected as it resides independent of the

application, and is under your complete control.
