CC-1250M

CC-1250M is a select, proprietary blend of water-soluble surfactants specifically formulated for the removal of synthetic based mud from workstrings, casing, risers, and surface equipment prior to completion operations.

Applications

CC-1250M is used to clean the wellbore, annulus, workstring, surface equipment, and surface lines during displacement operations. Please consult a RIG-CHEM representative for an engineered displacement procedure.

Advantages

CC-1250M is not based on contact time as other displacement surfactants are.

CC-1250M has been tested to be effective in cleaning synthetic based muds with up to 40% contamination.Efficiently removes synthetic mud, dispersing the oil and oil-coated solids into small individual droplets which do not commingle or agglomerate.

Environmental Data & HandlingCC-1250M is biodegradable, non-toxic, non-hazardous, non-flammable, and non-corrosive.

When used as directed CC-1250M does not create a sheen, as directed and tested in accordance to Appendix 1 of Subpart A to Part 435 EPA 40 CFR, to the surface of receiving waters.

DEFOAMER W-1

Defoamer W-1 is a highly water dispersible silicone formulation designed for general purpose defoaming. It will prevent foam in degassers, coil tubing units, pits, return tanks and other equipment where there are foam problems. The defoaming ability of Defoamer W-1 may improve the quality and quantity of production by eliminating foam and foam carry-over and improving the efficiency of treating equipment.

Applications

Because each application varies, it is suggested that 0.05 - 0.1 ppm be used initially, with a gradual lowering of the treating rate as determined by operating conditions. Severe foaming may need to be treated with 0.2 ppm.

Advantages

The low ppm range in where Defoamer W-1 is effective makes it an economical choice.Defoamer W-1 is safe to use in degassers, coil tubing units, production vessels, pits, return tanks and other equipment where fluid foaming may be a problem.

Environmental Data Although Defoamer W-1 is a low toxicity product, Bioassay informatioin is available on request.

Defoamer W-1 is highly dispersible in WBM systems containing fresh or seawater and is highly effective in the control of foam in viscous brines and spacers.Defoamer W-1 is ideal for treating foam generated by air drilling/air misting operations in where a surfactant or soap is purposely pumped downhole for cuttings lift.

PDR-4000

PDR-4000 is a proprietary blend of fast-acting solvents designed for the removal of pipe dope and hydrocarbon residues from casing and work string. Used as directed, PDR-4000 will remove pipe dope and assist in the removal of solids and particulate matter, including iron scale, which could severely affect well production if not removed prior to completion operations.

It is also very effective in removing diesel and synthetic base muds. PDR-6000 is a great alternative to PDR-4000 when higher flash points are needed. RC GREEN MAGIC

RC GREEN MAGIC is a unique, totally biodegradable, environmentally safe blend of surfactants, chelates and corrosion inhibitors that create a super concentrated water based degreaser and cleaner. Advantages

RC GREEN MAGIC contains no butyls, glycol ethers, terpene, hydrocarbons, or other solvents. Therefore the product has no volatile organic hydrocarbons and does not contribute to airborne emissions of VOC's.

RC GREEN MAGIC is considered a green product and is "environmentally safe" It contains no solvents or chemicals listed in SARA Title III Section 302.

TreatmentRC GREEN MAGIC is sold as a concentrate, in 3-1 dilution, or 6-1 dilution. The concentration can also be mixed on site to the desired dilution factor depending on the severity of the contamination.

APPLICATIONS

RC-4 is safe to fabrics and may be used in the laundry to clean muddy work clothes.

ADVANTAGES

Treated surfaces easily rinse clean leaving no residual film when used properly.

Proven to be especially effective in cleaning all types of synthetic based muds.

RC-4 is highly concentrated and may be diluted many times depending on the synthetic mud condition.

RC-4 is formulated to be environmentally friendly. It is biodegradable, non-flammable, non-corrosive, non-toxic, and non-hazardous.

RC-4 is safe to human health and contains no butyl, aliphatic, or aromatic solvents, abrasives, caustic soda, or chlorinated hydrocarbons.

SURFACE EQUIPMENT CLEANER FOR ALL TYPES OF SYNTHETIC BASED MUDS

Apply RC-4 cleaning solution to the soiled surface by spraying, cleaning, or brushing. Allow to sit for 3-10 minutes depending on the severity of the contamination, but do not allow the solution to sit long enough to dry out. If possible, scrub the surfaces with a brush or broom. Hose off with water under pressure. Concentration depends on age, thickness, and condition of the SBM being cleaned.

RC-4 is a safe, water-soluble, and liquid concentrated cleaner specifically formulated for surface equipment clean-up of synthetic drilling muds. This unique cleaner will completely emulsify and remove synthetic muds, leaving surfaces water-wet with no oily film or residue. RC-4 is formulated with environmentally friendly surfactants and may safely be used on painted surfaces, plastics, fabrics, metals, etc.

RC-4 may be used as a general purpose cleaner and rig wash and safe for use on painted surfaces, metals, plastics, etc.

RC PAK-3

RC PAK-3 is a combination surfactant, quaternary salt compound, corrosion inhibitor with excellent film forming characteristics. It is also an oxygen scavenger for use in all light and heavy density brines. RC PAK-3 will control corrosion due to carbon dioxide, inorganic salts, dissolved oxygen, and H2S contamination due to sour fluids or bacterial action.

RC-PIGOUT-404

RC-PIGOUT-404 is a unique blend of fast-acting solvents, dispersants, and emulsifiers designed for the removal of hydrocarbon deposits from pipelines. Used as directed, RC-PIGOUT-404 will remove organic deposits, and assist in the removal of solids and particulate matter, including iron sulfide, which could severely affect pipeline production. RC-PIGOUT-404 will also lubricate pipeline to prevent pigs from premature wear.

Each pail contains 16 lbs of hydroxyethyl cellulose.

Because of the proprietary base fluid carrier that RIG-CHEM's RIGVIS-EH is blended in the full pail is able to be utilized when mixing and blending.

Yields smooth, uniform viscosity with no lumping.

RIGVIS -EH is primarily used in water based drilling fluids or clear brine systems as a primary viscosifier to add viscosity and suspension to the fluid being treated.

TreatmentFor a typical treatment to obtain a Marsh funnel viscosity of 35-40 sec/qt mix 5 gallons RIGVIS-EH per 20 barrels of fluid.

Liquid Xanthan Viscosifier



Faster yielding than dry Xanthan polymer with rapid dispersion into the sytem.

Each pail contains 21 lbs (42% by weight) of Xanthan polymer.

Because of the proprietary base fluid carrier that RIG-CHEM's RigXan-L Plus is blended in the full pail is able to be utilized when mixing and blending with smooth, even viscosity without the "fisheyes" you can typically see utilizing dry polymer additives.

Yields smooth, uniform viscosity with no lumping.

RigXan-L Plus is compatible with typically used completion, drilling and stimulation fluids. The product mixes easily in fresh water and a variety of brines. For an application rate specific to your requirements please contact the RIG-CHEM sales and technical support staff.

Treatment

When used as directed and tested according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Static Sheen Test, RigXan-L Plus does not form or create a sheen on the surface of receiving waters.

Typical treatment is 1-2 ppb of RigXan-L Plus depending on the the desired suspension and viscosity; however, since RIG-CHEM spacers are designed specifically for each application please consult a RIG-CHEM representative for concentration amounts.

VERSAFLOC LHD+

VERSAFLOC LHD + is a “universal flocculant” which aids in solids removal in wellbore displacements and completion fluid reclamation operations. VERSAFLOC LHD+ helps to clean up the workstring, casing, riser, and surface equipment by flocculating oil-wet and water-wet solids in completion fluid, seawater, and produced water.
