Merit Industries:

ACCESS BASIC, VISUAL BASIC and SQL used to create user customizable reports in a dynamic, Report Wizard format. Designed forms that were simple, straightforward and easy for the user to negotiate. Designed system tables and queries to maximize system productivity and response time. Responsible for programming, as well as testing and debugging the existing database system. Created a help file for the ACCESS based software using ROBOHELP. Used the ACCESS DEVELOPERS TOOLKIT to create install disks for the application. Tested the distribution on several different computers for cross-compatibility. Ensured that every software release was as stable as possible.

Wrote a 200-page technical help manual using Microsoft Word.

Wyeth Ayerst – HR Portal and IS.Org :Contracted to complete a web project where I created an IS Intranet Website to house all of the Information Services related content for Wyeth and their partner companies. Figured out how to write ASP to customize the user of Build-A-Site and provided user documentation for my customizations. Designed the system, using ASP, JavaScript, Vbscript, CSS1, CSS2 & HTML, created solutions to dynamically generate web pages based on the content types uploaded by the administrators. Modified use of “Build-A-Site” in such a way that my code and procedures set a new standard for web development at Wyeth, and raised the benchmark for future Build-A-Site improvements. After successful completion of the project my contract was extended to lead the dynamic Global (International) HR portal project. Wrote a 200-page manual for IS.org, and a 100 page manual for HR Portal using MS Word.
