meeting
March 8, 2018
8:30 am
Verbal abuse toward our
workers will not be tolerated.
This includes when an RM worker is
performing custom work on your
property.
Due to the
number of
approaches in
the municipality the RM of Beaver
River does not lift the grader blade
at approaches. We apologize for
this inconvenience.
Gravel Purchasing
Gravel is a non-renewable resource. Each year, gravel makes up a large portion of the
budget. The RM of Beaver River Council has decided to save some of its gravel stock-
pile for future generations and purchase 10 000 yards of gravel to complete approxi-
mately half of the 2018 Gravel Program. The remaining gravel for the Gravel Program
will come from the municipality’s Goodsoil stockpile.
The RM Council feels it is a wise financial decision, at this point in time, to keep a portion of our stockpile and
purchase gravel.

Sewage Lagoon Automatic
Entrance Arm
The RM of Beaver River installed an automatic entrance arm at the Goodsoil Sewage Lagoon.
The RM has provided contractors with a key card. Using key cards for entry allows the RM to track exactly how many loads have been hauled to the lagoon each day. Each key card has a unique ID number so the system is able to continually track each individual entrance made by each contractor. This will ensure accurate tipping fees are being collected and will therefore recover the cost of the arm and power installation.
