Religious Education Registration 2017-2018

The parish Religious Education Office is

registering students for the 2017-2018 season.

Registration forms were mailed to the parents of all the

children who participated in the program during the

2016-2017 season. Please fill out the forms and return

them to the office by August 15, 2017.

Registration forms for all new students are

available in the parish office.

First Day of Class

All Religious Education classes for

grades one through ten will begin on Saturday,

September 9th

. Classes will take place from

9:00 to 10:15 A.M.

Parent Meetings

Parents with children in grades nine and ten [The

Confirmation Program] will meet with Father Anthony

on August 26th

from 9:00 to 10:15 AM in the school. At

least one parent is to attend this meeting with their

child. Parents with children in grades one through

eight will meet with Father Anthony on September 16th

from 9:00 to 10:15 AM in the school. At least one

parent is to attend this meeting.

Teachers’ Meeting

A meeting for all teachers, teachers’ aides and hall

monitors with the Religious Education Program will

take place on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 9:00 to

Noon. Please plan on attending.

Jezus Chrystus wypowiada słowa, które byłyby dla każdego

innego syna trudne, być może nawet bolesne. Gdyby jakiś

dorosły mężczyzna powiedział: Wszystko, co posiadam, mam

po ojcu. Wszystko, co jest moje, dostałem w spadku.

Brzmiałoby to trochę jak przyznanie się do życiowej

nieporadności, do tego, że na nic sam nie zapracowałem.

Tymczasem Jezus bardzo otwarcie i bezpośrednio mówi:

Wszystko, co mam, pochodzi od mojego Taty! I to jest

prawda, która dotyczy naszego serca i naszej wiary. Jezus

Chrystus całą swoją boską moc, to, że mógł przejść przez

życie, czyniąc dobrze, lecząc choroby, wyrzucając złe duchy,

nawracając, głosząc najpiękniejszą naukę świata, wreszcie

umierając na krzyżu i zmartwychwstając, to wszystko miał od

swojego Ojca. Jeśli tak, to i my sami musimy sobie zadać

pytanie: Czy ja mam coś, czego bym nie dostał od Boga?

Panie, wiemy, że wszystko jest łaską. Każda chwila, zarówno

ta dobra, jak i ta zła jest Twoją łaską dla nas. Wszystko, co

mamy, pochodzi od Ciebie, wszystko, co mamy, do Ciebie

wróci. Dziękujemy Ci za to. Bądź uwielbiony Panie.

VINCENTIAN 400TH

ANNIVERSARY

The priests who serve at St. Stanislaus Parish are members of

the Congregation of the Mission [Vincentian Priests and

Brothers]. This year the Congregation of the Mission

celebrates its 400th

anniversary. Founded by St. Vincent de

Paul on January 25, 1625, the Congregation of the Mission

and the Vincentian Family are dedicated to the pastoral and

corporal service to the poor. An informational pamphlet is

available at the entrance of the church. You can also access

SPEED LIMIT

Please do not operate vehicles in our parking lot in excess of

five miles per hour. This is very dangerous as people are

walking in the parking lot.

PARISH PICNIC

We would like to let you know that our annual Parish

Picnic/Harvest Festival will be held at PNA Park, 171 N.

Plains Rd., Wallingford, CT., 06492 on Sunday, September

10, 2017 from 1 P.M. till 8 P.M. The event will include

delicious Polish-American food, music by the Dennis

Polisky Polka Band from 1-5 PM, and by a DJ from 5:30-8

PM. There will be a Parish Raffle at the Picnic. The tickets

are a bargain $2.00 each or $40.00 a book of 20 Raffle

Tickets. The Picnic gives us the opportunity to raise funds for

the Parish. Have a great time, enjoying the Polish-American

music and Polish and American food throughout the

afternoon. We look forward to seeing you there! I ask each

member of the parish to support this parish event by buying

the raffle tickets or selling them to your relatives, friends or

co-workers. Return whatever tickets you don’t sell along with

your check and the stubs of those that are purchased. For

certain, the Parish Picnic is not only an opportunity to enjoy

ourselves with good food and games, but it provides an

opportunity to get to know each other better as well as to

strengthen our Parish Community. We cordially invite you to
