TAILINGS MANAGEMENT BENEFITS: After a comprehensive review and analysis of tailings management, NexGen proposes industry leading practices of storing tailings underground in both mined-out stopes and purpose-built Underground Tailings Management Facility ("UGTMF"). This design practice employs the highest degree of environmental preformance, safety and advances progressive reclamation. Minimizes surface footprint of operations, Avoids long-term management of surface tailings storage facility, Undertakes progressive decommissioning during mining operations which reduces the time required to decommission the site once operations are complete. UNDERGROUND FACILITY: CONTINUOUS RECLAMATION The proposed UGTMF will be constructed in stable and strong basement rock, approximately 385 m below surface in an area without uranium mineralization. It will consist of chambers that will be filled with processed tailings delivered underground through piping and sealed off permanently for storage. Underground tailings storage results in numerous environmental benefits: Underground tailings storage allows for continuous reclamation during all phases of the Project. Processing all tailings and putting them in mined-out stopes and purpose-built underground chambers for long-term storage removes the need for surface storage facilities and enables site to be restored after mining operations cease. TAILINGS MANAGEMENT

BENEFITS:

After a comprehensive review and analysis of tailings management, NexGen proposes industry leadingpractices of storing tailings underground in both mined-out stopes and purpose-built Underground Tailings

Management Facility ("UGTMF"). This design practice employs the highest degree of environmentalpreformance, safety and advances progressive reclamation.

Minimizes surface footprint of operations,Avoids long-term management of surfacetailings storage facility,Undertakes progressive decommissioningduring mining operations which reduces thetime required to decommission the site onceoperations are complete.

UNDERGROUND FACILITY:

CONTINUOUSRECLAMATION

The proposed UGTMF will be constructed instable and strong basement rock, approximately385 m below surface in an area without uraniummineralization. It will consist of chambers that willbe filled with processed tailings deliveredunderground through piping and sealed offpermanently for storage.

Underground tailings storage results in numerousenvironmental benefits:

Underground tailings storage allows forcontinuous reclamation during all phases of theProject. Processing all tailings and putting themin mined-out stopes and purpose-builtunderground chambers for long-term storageremoves the need for surface storage facilitiesand enables site to be restored after miningoperations cease.
