*Sugar Bowl Display* I was able to close this display by utilizing a few tools at hand. While walking the

outlet I noticed the Budweiser display extremely low. I brought this up to David’s (store manager) attention and asked what his plans were. He and his team were undecided so it open the doors for me discuss some growth opportunities. Utilizing the Walmart Standard Review and Margin Minder, I shared with David a couple of packages I felt would be best for his store. This being .5L6pks and 8pk 20oz Powerade.

* I chose .5L6pks because it’s part of Walmart’s “Big Game” promotion, and also it’s a package that has sold very well YTD. Using stewardship, I showed David that due to his commitment to our partnership and promotion of this package this year, he’s up almost 15% YTD vs prior/year!

*Moving onto 8pk 20oz Powerade, I chose this package because of two reasons, profit margin and growth potential. Moving at a 14.5% margin it’s a package Walmart can really make some money. Leading into growth potential, YTD I’m only up 4.5%. Coming into the new year, and new years resolutions, many people will be focused on healthier living and I feel Powerade will be package our customers will be looking for.

* To complete the display David asked for a theme. Knowing he’s an Ohio State fan, and knowing he’ll be watching the Sugar Bowl, I figured showing his favorite team on display would be the icing on the cake!

* In conclusion, David loved it!

*Competitive Information

*Southeast Atlantic (7up) has a new product out called Body Armor.*So far I’ve seen it in both Publix and Winn Dixie.*It’s being placed next to our 32oz Powerade in both chains and in some outlets have been invading our space so be on the lookout!
