S School visits including parents, administrators and teachers

S For decades, technology has been the driving force behind globalization, accelerating changes and the tremendous economic, social, geopolitical, and cultural shifts of the 21st century. It has profoundly changed life in the United States and around the globe.

Apple One to One Laptop Learning Program
1 to 1 learning programs, which provide students and teachers with round-the-clock use of a notebook computer as well as with access to educational software and digital authoring tools, can be a critical component of preparing students for the future.

S We will not allow the “Digital Divide” to impact our students. S We will provide all students access to technological equipment
they must know how to use in today’s workplace S Has a significant impact beyond schools to families and
communities, with students acting as mentors to parents, siblings, and other community members.

achieved as a result of the integration of Apple laptop computers. The school serves as an example for other schools both locally and
nationally.
Why Apple 1 to 1?
S Oswalt has always been a Mac school. S They have implemented more 1 to 1 programs than any
other company S Dell Computers is the only other company that has a similar
type of program. However, they do not provide the staff development training or on-going support.
S Apple provides a complete set of resources to begin, install and maintain the 1 to 1 learning program.
S Every MacBook Air is durable, stable and secure, and virtually immune to viruses.
S Apple’s technology is intuitive, creative, reliable and easy to use.
