P K stated he called Larry at to have V, who is a prostitute, come over at 1330. PK met Melissa off of a backpage add and has had her services three other times before. Every time PK has been with V she uses heroin and tonight was no different. V w a s in and out of the bathroom several times during their time together but PK stated he never watched her shoot up. This went on until about 2030 when PK heard V crash into some dishes in the kitchen. PK said he got up from the coach in the living room to see what was going on with V. He s a w V slumped over the kitchen sink struggling to breath. PK laid Vs naked body on the kitchen floor in his words hoping it would pass on its own. PK took the syringe that was next to V and threw it in the bathroom trash. After about 20 minutes of V laying on the floor PK noticed V wasn't breathing at all. P K then called Larry and told him V wasn't doing very good. That's all PK would say he talked to Larry about. PK then said he flushed 7 to 8 paper wrappers of heroin with a red design on them before he called 911. At the direction of 911 PK now gave CPR to V. Officers arrived at the same time as fire and EMS. Medical aid was given to V on the kitchen floor. V s heart stopped once but was brought back. As soon as they had a pulse again V was removed from the apartment and transported to strong, see IAR of Officer M. Cushman. In the bathroom trash can I located one uncapped syringe where PK said he put it. While looking for anything that would identify V I was directed to the location of Vs purse on the floor by PK. Next to this purse was a black plastic bag with new syringes in it along with one plastic spoon with a dried cotton ball stuck to it, common in filtering the heroin before injection. On the table just above this w a s one metal spoon with the same kind of cotton ball stuck to it. All items were photographed and collected. P K stated he doesn't due heroin but when he does he only snorts it and it has been a few months.

I R E S P O N D E D TO THE ABOVE LOCATION FOR THE REPORT OF A FEMALE ON THE FLOOR UNRESPONSIVE DUE TO A POSSIBLE OVERDOSE. ON ARRIVAL I WAS DIRECTED TO THE KITCHEN WHERE V WAS LOCATED ON THE KITCHEN FLOOR NAKED. AFTER BRIEFLY TALKING TO THE C A L L E R IT WAS ASCERTAINED THAT THE VICTIM WAS AT THE LOCATION AS A PROSTITUTE AND THAT DURING THE S E RVICE SHE HAD INJECTED H E R S E L F WITH HEROIN. I THEN C H E C K E D THE VICTIM FOR A PULSE , WHICH WAS PRESENT BUT V E R Y FAINT. AT THAT TIME I STARTED CPR AND CONTINUED COMPRESSIONS ON AUTOBEE WITH EMS THAT ARRIVED S H O R T L Y AFTER. SHORTLY AFTER EMS ARRIVING A U T O B E E BECAME UNRESPONSIVE AND HAD NO HEART BEAT. AFTER GIVING COMPRESSIONS FOR ABOUT 20 MIN, AND AUTOBEE RECEIVING MULTIPLE DOSES OF NARCAN FROM EMS AUTOBEE'S HEART STARTED BEATING AGAIN AT WHICH TIME EMS DECIDED TO TRANSPORT HER TO STRONG HOSPITAL. ONCE AT STRONG A U T O B E E WAS IMMEDIATLY INTUBATED AND GIVEN MORE MEDICAL ATTENTION IN ATTEMPT TO S A V E HER LIFE. AFTER TREATMENT AT THE HOSPITAL DR NATHAN GARTON ADVISED ME THAT A U T O B E E WOULD SURVIVE THE OVERDOSE BUT WOULD MOST LIKELY B E BRAIN DEAD FROM T H E EXTENSIVE LOS S OF OXYGEN TO THE BRAIN. DR GARTON STATED THAT FROM HIS OBSERVATIONS AND STATUS OF AUTOBEE, IT APPEARS THAT AUTOBEE WAS UNCONSCIOUS FOR OVER 45 MIN B E F O R E POLICE OR AMBULANCE WAS C A L L E D TO THE S C E N E . IT COULD NOT B E DETERMINED THE EXTENT OF THE BRAIN DAMAGE UNTIL SHE RECEIVED A CAT SCAN. DR GARTON STATED THAT AUTOBEE WOULD B E IN INTENSIVE C A R E FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME BUT WAS S T A B L E AT THIS TIME.
