Introduction The purpose of this alert is to advise customers of a problem associated with the Compressor (MCSP) module on RTAA/RTWA/RTUA 70-125 ton units. The action described in this alert is not being taken to address a safety concern. Discussion There were a number MCSP modules (X13650477-11 Rev. M) produced with reversed electrical components. The reversed components will be found in locations C35, C36, C39, C40, C43 and C44 in the current input circuits, C53 in the high pressure cutout input and C55 in the winding temp input. These capacitors will cause diagnostics such as High Pressure Cutout, Phase Loss and Phase Unbalance. These diagnostics will occur at power-up and will not clear or reset.
