Rajavarma Ariga The weekly meeting was held on 22nd October. The meeting coordinator for the evening Rtn. Srikanth Prabhu gave an interesting and informative talk on the topic - Biometrics and Philanthropy, he also involved Rotracters of the TMA Pai Rotaract Club to the meeting. Rtn. Srikanth spoke about how fingerprints and facial recognition are used along with biometric and computer science for forensic purposes to catch the culprit. He gave very interesting examples and showed us the working of algorithms in creating new faces. He combined faces of 3 different people dividing them into sections of the forehead and eyes, nose and mouth and chin. He and his team are working on a software in collaboration with the Dept of Homeland Security USA. The Rotractors present in the meeting participated wholly. Rtr. Jason D'Souza gave the Rotary information, Rtr. Ashley gave the thought for the day and we were all entertained by the melodious voice of Rtr. Suraksha. Zonal Seminar on TRF & Polio Plus and World Polio Day Celebration

Zonal Seminar on TRF and Polio Plus was held on 24th October, 2019 at Mahishamardhini Rotary Scout Hall, Kadiyali. Also celebrated World Polio Day. Rtn Dr Gowri was one of the Guest Speakers who spoke on Polio Plus. President Rtn Rajavarma Ariga, Rtn Shreesha Hegde, Rtn Amit, Rtn Dr Girija, Rtn Jaivittal, Rtn MM Shanbhag, Rtn Rooma Iyengar, Rtn Aruna Shenoy, Rtn Rathnakar Udyavar, Ann Shashikala Rajavarma and Ann Dr Lavanya had attended the seminar.
