Event Planning and Follow-Up

Ensure that all client requirements have been confirmed and that these details are accurately and thoroughly

communicated to the hotel operation in a timely manner.

Act as the primary point of contact for detailed meeting/event planning, working closely with Banquet

Operations, F&B management, Reservations, Rooms Division operation, Finance and external suppliers.

Ensure effective and productive coordination and service delivery with AV supplier.

Ensure regular client contact when meetings/events are in-house through Daily Meetings Debrief, and

ensure all hotel operational details are executed correctly.

Ensure correct and accurate billing and confirm with client upon conclusion of event.

Follow up with client to obtain event feedback and identify further business opportunities.

Ensure client feedback is communicated and acted upon internally and manage resolution of any issues with

the client within 48 hours.

Past Job Experience

Working as a field sale executive in sales division of Hampshire group of Hotels and Resorts. Achieving the

Sales target, revenue generation and market survey were the prime area of involvement. In addition,

handled the banquet sales and room bookings (03 Aug 11 to 27 Oct 12).

Worked as a PRO (Projects) in Sundek India Limited from 11 Jan 11 to 30 Jul 11. Sundek India Limited

are the leading manufacturer and exporter of Interior Decor Products. Sundek – a pioneer in High

Pressure Decorative Laminates (HPL) in India. Achievement in Sales target and Marketing with innovations

were the mantra of my success during the period as PRO (Projects).

One year working experience as marketing executive in Kerala-based Air travel Enterprises (ATE)

group of companies. Done the job of field sales executive for hospitality division of ATE group of

companies. Formulating the proposal letters as well as business strategy for business development,

carrying out Market survey and Feedback updation. 2009 - 2010

Three years job experience in MERMAID HOTEL as a Executive Reservation and marketing. Shown
