hidden stitch - As seen in the sample below, we can “hide” the lengthwise and widthwise stitches for a more upscale appearance and craft a mitered corner with top or hidden stitch. (Mitered corner with top stitches shown below). Unless specifically requested ALL miters are top stitched regardless of fabric type.

top stitch - As seen in the sample below, the thread stitching will match the wide binding and is adhered from the “top” making it visible. This sample shows a simple folded corner for a more casual appearance.

• To balance your rug properly within the pattern, all rugs are subject to a size adjustment in the width and length by up to 3” (+ or -).

• To add dimensional stability and avoid the possibility of wrinkles in any flat weave rug, we recommend adding an attached pad to your rug. Please consult page 23 for backing options.

• If an attached pad is not used a rug cushion is recommended underneath your indoor rugs to preserve appearance and to prevent the rug from sliding. A dense synthetic non-woven cushion with a non-skid surface on the underside is ideal. The thickness of the pad should be no more than 1/4”. Double face tape may also be used to secure the rug to the pad.

• Hand crafted rugs may conform to the core they are wrapped around during shipping. In the first 7-10 days you may need to allow the rug to acclimate in order to make the rug lie completely flat.
