People should give their rulers consent to be ruled.

It is patriotic to be an imperialist and to continue the spread of U.S. expansion

It is unpatriotic to be imperialist because the idea of ruling people that do not want to be ruled goes against the core of American’s principles. (The Constitution and the Declaration of Independence)

U.S. government and culture is the best and it should be spread around to others– Nationalism.
