Again I will keep doing the Friday video as a bit of fun for the children. I am open to suggestions on themes or songs. Feel free to get in touch to share any ideas you have. Please send the photos to Twitter or Seesaw by Thursday so I can put the video together for Friday. I am also aware that not all families follow the class twitter page, therefore, can I ask that you spread this to all the families of children in our class. It would be lovely if everyone could join in. I know some children do not have permission for their image or video to go onto the internet, if for whatever reason you do not want your child featured on the internet version please let me know. I will create a ‘Non-internet version and send this to you separately to share with your child. Thank you again for all your hard work and support of the children with their learning at home! Grammar – I have set you a 2do on Purple Mash today. It is called ‘Jim takes out the rubbish’ If you are not using Purple Mash, please find explore a range of sentences with different punctuation. Grammar – when we write stories we use the word ‘said’ a lot of times. I would like you to create a list of words that we could use instead of ‘said’. I have set this as a 2Do on Purple Mash. The tiny hermit crab loves his new shell and doesn’t want to share it at first in the story. Have you got a favourite toy that you really love and find it hard to share? Can you draw a picture of it and write a few sentences about what makes it special to you?

Design and Technology:This half term our topic continues to be sculptures. We will look at it in a slightly different way. Using Pirate Paddy’s Pack Lunch problems. I have added a power point to the class webpage that will talk the children through the problem Paddy has this week.
