YOUTH MINISTRIES
FOURTH SUNDAY OF EASTER Page 7
Mission of Life Teen and Edge:
As a Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church, Life Teen leads teenag-
ers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. With the
Blessed Virgin Mary as our intercessor and guide, Life Teen seeks to unleash the fullness of the
Sacramental power present within the young Church.
Through powerful Eucharistic encounters and engaging catechesis, our Edge (middle school) and Life Teen
(high school) teens are immersed in a dynamically Catholic parish culture. With the parish as their true home,
our teens are then further strengthened by our Events, Resources, and Digital (web and social media) evangeli-
zation. Our goal is not only to “reach” today’s teens, but also to create an environment where Catholic teenagers
feel supported and engaged the other 167 hours a week, outside of Sunday mass.
Life Teen High School Youth Ministry meets
every other Sunday, starting with Mass at 12pm, and
then continues at 3pm in the parish hall.
All high school aged teens are welcome to join us.
Our theme for this semester is “Person of Christ.”
Join us for fun, fellowship and journey deeper into
our Catholic faith.

continues at 3pm in the parish hall!

us for fun and fellowship. Our theme for this
semester is the “Sacraments.” Join us as we
continue our journey into how God is present to us
in the Sacraments.

Prayer for Priests
O Jesus, I pray for your faithful and fervent priests; for your
unfaithful and tepid priests; for your priests laboring at home
or abroad in distant missions; for your tempted priests; for
your lonely and desolate priests; for the souls of your priests
who have died.
But above all, I recommend to you the priests dearest to me:
the priest who baptized me; those who absolved me from my
sins; those whose Masses I assisted and who gave me your
Body and Blood in Holy Communion; those who taught me; all those to whom I am indebted in any other way.
O Jesus, keep Fr.________ close to your heart, and bless him
abundantly in time and eternity. Amen
EVENINGS WITH MARY - Please join us for
an encounter with Mary on Friday, May 8, 7:00–8:30 pm, at St. Joseph (South San)

plan of God. Includes the Rosary with prayers for healing. All are welcome and
there is no cost! For more information, call Pilgrim Center of Hope at (210) 521-3377 or
