The MGF steel davit system is ideal for man-riding and fall arrest retrieval in open excavations or pits, where a cantilever system is required. The MGF counter balance davit system consists of five individual lightweight components to enable easy transportation and installation. The counter balance davit and RGA4 fall arrest/RGR 7 man riding winches are connected to the free standing base. The anchoring system includes a weight rack that uses counter balance/ballast weights to provide support for a davit arm. No floor penetration is required and the complete system is modular and can be assembled in minutes providing a safe means of man riding, fall arrest and rescue from height. TRIPODSRGR1 RESCUE TRIPODThe RGR1 rescue tripod has many applications such as access and rescue/retrieval from confined spaces, manholes and trenches. The tripod is lightweight, meaning it is easy to transport and assemble on site. Adjustable legs means it is adaptable to all different ground conditions and demanding surfaces.

WINCHESRGA4 FALL ARREST/RESCUE RETRIEVAL BLOCK

The RGA4 is a three way rescue retrieval block fitted with an up/down winch mechanism and the standard fall arrest capability. In the event of a fall, the operative can be winched up or down to safety almost immediately. As most rescue systems only lower the casualty, the RGA4 has the advantage that it can also raise the operative to a safe area.

KEY PRODUCT FEATURES • The RGA4 rescue retrieval winch is used in excavations up to

12m deep, and uses a 15m galvanised steel wire rope.• The unit is lightweight at 11.35kg, with compact dimensions

WINCHESRGR7 RESCUE WINCHThe RGR7 rescue winch is the ideal man-riding winch designed to lower and raise an operative. The RGR7 is most commonly fitted to the RGR1 tripod for use in the confined access industry, as it can lower an operative into an area where no ladders are fitted.

STANDARD SAFETY HARNESSRGH5 FRONT AND REAR D RESCUE HARNESS

The RGH5 is designed for use as an access harness. The front and rear attachment points can be used as standard fall arrest points and the rescue strap can be used for lifting and lowering. When used, the rescue strap keeps the operative in a near vertical position, which is preferred when recovering an unconscious casualty. This harness is used throughout the industry in conjunction with the RGR1 tripod and winch unit to access confined spaces, vertical shafts, sewers and silos. The RGH5 is suitable for use with fall arrest/recovery blocks RGA4 and RGR7. The harness is fully adjustable and is fitted with rip stitch indicators, for checking and inspecting.

STRETCHERSRS100 STRETCHERThe RS100 stretcher is a rollup stretcher stored and carried in a backpack. Available with a comfort mattressor a vacuum mattress that holds the casualty in position or a spinal splint with integral flotation inserts. The RS100 is suitable for a horizontal davit lift and rescue from height. It can also be used vertically toextricate a casualty from a confined space with limited access.

The RGR11 is the best solution for confined space, high angle or technical rescue, and traditional land based applications. The RGR11 stretcher is a revolutionary design which provides security and protection for injured persons. The stretcher comes equipped for hoisting by davits in horizontal position or hoisting in vertical position in industrial confined spaces. When the injured person is packaged, the stretcher becomes rigid. The durable plastic provides protection for the injured person while allowing extrication through the most demanding confined spaces.

STRETCHERSGAZELLE BASKET STRETCHER

The Gazelle Basket Stretcher is designed to provide a cost effective alternative to high-end titanium baskets whilst offering the same durability. The Gazelle Series basket stretchers feature an all-carbon-steel, MIG welded frame construction. The stretcher relies on frame geometry, construction methods and materials for ultimate strength. The Gazelle basket stretcher is used with hard/soft litter bridles for lifting purposes.

SAFETY LANYARDSRGL1 WEBBING LANYARD WITH SHOCK PACK

The RGL1 is supplied in two standard lengths 1.3m and 1.8m. The RGL1 lanyard is an industry standard, and normally the minimum equipment issued with a harness for working at height. The RGL1 is manufactured using 40KN polyester webbing which helps give the product a longer life.

SAFETY LANYARDSRGL3 TWIN LEG WEBBING LANYARD WITH SHOCK PACKThe RGL3 is a twin leg lanyard with the same specifications as the RGL1. The extra leg allows movement between anchorage points by means of double clipping. This system is generally used for tower climbing, steel erecting, scaffolding and maintenance on open structures. When used in conjunction with two Girder Slings (RGK26), the RGL3 can be used as a means of progression through suitable structures where no fixed lifeline or eyebolts are available. The RGL3 is manufactured using 40KN webbing which provides greater strength, wear and shear resistance compared to other webbing.

SAFETY LANYARDSRGL12 ADJUSTABLE RESTRAINT LANYARD

The RGL12 is an adjustable restraint lanyard, and various lengths are available to act as a leash for an operative working at height. The adjustability of the product ensures that the correct length can be selected for the task in hand. It is important to understand the principles of fall restraint as the RGL12 can only be used for fall restraint, as there is no shock absorption built into the system.

KEY PRODUCT FEATURES • Acts as an adjustable leash for an operative working at height.• Must not be used to extend another fall arrest product.

SAFETY LANYARDSRGL5 RESTRAINT LANYARDThe RGL5 restraint lanyard acts as a leash for working at height. The RGL5 can only be used for fall restraint because there is no shock absorption built into the system. If there is any possibility of falling over an exposed edge, or falling through a fragile surface, a fall arrest product should be used.

SAFETY LANYARDSRGL7 SHOCK PACK

The RGL7 is similar to the standard shock pack, which is fitted to all other MGF fall arrest lanyards. When supplied as an individual unit, the RGL7 is fitted with RGK12 delta links at both ends. Only for use with rope grabs.

SAFETY LANYARDSRGL2 12MM KERNMANTLE ROPE LANYARDThe RGL2 12mm Kernmantle Rope Lanyard is supplied up to a maximum overall length of 1.5m including karabiners. It is an industry standard, and normally the minimum equipment issued with a harness for working at height. 37kN polyester webbing is used to manufacture the lanyard which helps give the product exceptional strength and a longer life. It is also treated with a water repellent coating which also extends the life of this product.

ROPES AND ROPE GRABSRGA10 ROPE GRAB

The RGA10 is designed to provide vertical/inclined fall protection tooperatives ascending/descending a ladder or structure. This versionof the rope grab is for use with 16mm hawser laid rope only.This unit comes standard with a shock pack fitted and cannot be removed, however due to the gate opening method of attachment, the RGA10 offers positive closure and good camming action.

The locking cam on this device is toothed and arrests well on the hawser laid rope. When used in conjunction with the RGA10R hawser laid rope, the RGA10 provides excellent protection as a vertical fall protection system, normally used in heavy industrial areas where fouling and debris will be transferred to the rope.

The RGA10 is fitted with a shock pack to minimize loading transferred to the anchors. In use, it is recommended that slight tension is placed on the rope to aid movement, as with all highly flexible systems. In working conditions it is usual to provide additional fall protection equipment to protect the user when detaching from the device at height.

ROPES AND ROPE GRABSRGA12 ROPE GRABDesigned to provide vertical/inclined fall protection to operatives ascending/descending a ladder or structure, and is for use with 11mm Kernmantle rope only. When used by itself, it should be connected directly to the chest attachment of a compatible harness via a Karabiner. This ensures that the user is held close to the structure and, in the event of a slip, the fall distance and loading on the top anchor is minimal.

The RGA14 is designed to provide vertical/inclined fall protection to operatives ascending/descending a ladder or structure. It is also currently used in the rope access industry, as a protection device on the safety rope. The RGA14 is for use with 10.5mm - 12.7mm Kernmantle rope. The RGA14 is removable but can be permanently attached to the rope.

ROPES AND ROPE GRABSRGA10R 16MM HAWSER LAID ROPEThe RGA10R is supplied in three standard length: 10m, 20m and 30m. The RGA10R is used in conjunction with the RGA10 rope grab to provide vertical, or near vertical fall protection. The RGA10R is fitted with a single spliced eye and fitted with a nylon thimble. The hawser laid construction of the nylon rope, provides good shock absorption qualities and offers some resistance to alkali, oils and organic solvents.

The RGA16E is fitted with a spliced eye on both ends and is fitted with nylon thimbles. This makes the rope reversible and will extend the usage of the product.

The hawser laid construction of the nylon rope, provides good shock absorption qualities and offers some resistance to alkali, oils and organic solvents.

PIPE STOPPERSVETTER MULTI TEST STOPPER

The aluminium multitest stopper is designed for use when air testing drainage pipes to a standard air test of 100mm of water over air. The aluminium multitest stoppers are very light and easily transported, making them ideal for testing awkward to reach locations. It’s first of a kind aluminium core means that it is now durable to the environment in which it is used, which has further increased the lifespan of the product. Inflation is via a hand pump or compressor adapter fitted with a pressure regulator.

PIPE STOPPERSVETTER BYPASS STOPPERThe bypass stopper range offers an effective solution when stopping a flow of water when it is not practical or desirable. Bauer couplings allow rigid or lay flat hose to be connected to the stopper, taking the flow above ground via a pump or by gravity through the area of work. Bypass stoppers are a cost effective alternative to over pumping as well as being easy and effective to use. Inflation is via a hand pump or compressor adapter fitted with a pressure regulator. The maximum operating pressure of 1.5 bar (21psi), enables the stoppers to withstand a back pressure of 0.5 bar (7psi or 5m head) when suitably braced.

Vetter blank stoppers are the optimum solution when quick and reliable sealing of drainage is required. The extensive range of sizes allows reliable pipe sealing for pipe diameters between 75mm to 2000mm. Inflation is via a hand pump or compressor adapter fitted with a pressure regulator. The maximum operating pressure of 1.5 bar (21psi), enables some stoppers to withstand a back pressure of 0.5 bar (7psi or 5m head) when suitably braced.

*High pressure stoppers and oil resistant stoppers are available upon request

SAFE USE OFINFLATABLE PIPE STOPPERIMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE SAFE USE OF INFLATABLE PIPE STOPPERS.

• Pipe stoppers must be positioned full length in the pipeline.

• Maximum back/test pressures must not be exceeded.

• Maximum inside and outside of pipeline inflation pressures must not be exceeded.

• To prevent the stopper being ejected from the pipeline it must be supported with a suitable support structure.

• Operatives must be clear of the area during stopper inflation and pressure testing.
