Proguard’s safety signages are made to accordance with ISO 3864with bi-lingual of Malay & English textures.

Safety colours and safety signs.There is a need to standardise a system of giving safety information that relies as little as possible on the useof words to achieve understanding. Continued growth in international trade, travel and more recently in theextensive mobility of labour requires a common communications method for safety information.

This International Standard prescribes the use of specific colours, geometric shapes and graphical symbolsfor the design of safety signs to be used as an integral part of any accident prevention, emergency provisions and risk reduction programme.

Health and Safety Regulation on Safety Signs and Signals.P e rmanent signboards must be used for signs relating to prohibitions, warnings and mandatory requirements and the location and identification of emergency escape routes and first aid facilities.

Signboards and/or a safety colour must be used to mark permanently the location and identification of fire-fighting equipment.

Signboards, including fire safety signs, are designed as follows:-
