Jedi_Master_Sage senses another approaching and opensone eye that looks to the door

X_JP_Kothsak_X opens the door and looks in seeing theroom is occupied, and seeing that sage is looking at thedoor "sorry didnt mean to interrupt"

Jedi_Master_Sage opens both eyes "not at all, how can Ihelp you?"

X_JP_Kothsak_X steps inside kinda ducking and squeezingthrough the door

X_JP_Kothsak_X :just came here to get some meditatingdone, i like this room

Jedi_Master_Sage : As do I. Are you new to the praxeum?

X_JP_Kothsak_X : somewhat yesX_JP_Kothsak_X : i am known as Kothsak

X_JP_Kothsak_X bows to him Jedi_Master_Sage stands and bows in return "I am known

as Sage"X_JP_Kothsak_X : a pleasure sir

Jedi_Master_Sage : I believe you requested a meeting withthe council

X_JP_Kothsak_X : yes i did

Jedi_Master_Sage : I'm a council member, what can we dofor you?

X_JP_Kothsak_X : I was a dark siderX_JP_Kothsak_X : i am no longer, and i wish permission to

continue my training as a jedi Jedi_Master_Sage : Why do you wish this?

X_JP_Kothsak_X : a few reasonsX_JP_Kothsak_X : mostly to prove my father wrong about

me Jedi_Master_Sage : A jedi must have nothing to prove. To

seek to prove a point is arrogance, arrogance is the father ofpride, pride leads to a fall, jedi who fall are most dangerousof all.

X_JP_Kothsak_X : perhaps normally it would Jedi_Master_Sage : What is it that you believe your father is

wrong about?

X_JP_Kothsak_X : but in this instance it is the reverseX_JP_Kothsak_X : my father raised me to be like him, a cold

blooded murderer, he said i would one day be just likehim, and be powerful in the darkside...thats just not me

Jedi_Master_Sage : I would hope so. but proving him wrongshould be a byproduct of your path in the light, not thepurpose for being a jedi

X_JP_Kothsak_X : true.....but it also lead me to thepath........

Jedi_Master_Sage : Seeking to make a point may havebrought you here, but it will not sustain your walk. You mustre-evaluate your reasons young one.

X_JP_Kothsak_X nodsX_JP_Kothsak_X : the darkside awakened something inside

me that......scared me....to say the least....i never want tofeel that again......another reason for me being here

Jedi_Master_Sage :You wish to be a jedi to shield yourselffrom fear?

X_JP_Kothsak_X : maybe, or maybe its to show me that iam better then the man the dark side showed me

Jedi_Master_Sage : Again, you show pride within you. yousay you want to show yourself that you better than a man ofthe darkside

Jedi_Master_Sage : A jedi does not concern himself withbeing better than that others think or reveal, a jedi mustembrace humility and be unpeturbed by outsideperceptions. In this, you would most likely become a betterman, but only as a result, never a goal.

X_JP_Kothsak_X nods Jedi_Master_Sage : A jedi seeks to better himself for the

benefit of others, not to sate his own ego or to conquer hisown insecurities.

Jedi_Master_Sage : I see in you potential, but danger aswell.

Jedi_Master_Sage : What are your thoughts on thesewords?

X_JP_Kothsak_X : there is always the chance of danger withanything, no matter what, there was danger that i wouldbe killed trying to come here and join the jedi, there was

a chance of danger coming in here and talking toyou....none of this i feared.....i wish to be

X_JP_Kothsak_X : to be trained and stand ready to do whati must to prove myself worthy

Jedi_Master_Sage : Those are all real dangers, but not theone I speak ofX_JP_Kothsak_X : please explain

Jedi_Master_Sage :You have said you wish to proveyourself to be better than the man the darkside showed you,to prove yourself worthy. this tells me that you have issuesof the heart that relate to pride.. and a desire to be accepted.Tell me, do you accept yourself?

X_JP_Kothsak_X : I accept the man i have become since ileft my fathers teachings yes, what i was when i was

under his teaching.......i cant say Jedi_Master_Sage : The past cannot be changed, we can

only change how we allow the past to affect us, how wepercieve its importance.

X_JP_Kothsak_X nods Jedi_Master_Sage : If you were to be accepted as a jedi,

would you be willing to work on the issues that have beenhighlighted?

X_JP_Kothsak_X : aye

Jedi_Master_Sage : Alright then, I shall relay what we'vediscussed to the rest of the council and see what they say. Ican't say this officially just yet, but welcome to the jediorder.

meditate
