Middle School AMPLIFY Youth Event September 27, 2019 at Sacred Heart, Webster – 6:30-8:30 PM. Open to all youth in 6th-8th grade. This event is FREE. Pizza, music, games, a witness talk, and Eucharistic Adoration. If interested, call Mrs. Forget.

25th Sunday in Ordinary Time
“No servant can serve two masters. He will hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon (wealth).” (Luke 16:13) Is money a “god” that you put before God? Giving money to support the Church and other charity is a pillar of our faith, just like attending Mass every Sunday and participating in parish ministry. Giving money frees us from being a slave to money. It increases our dependence on God and our trust that God will provide all that we need.

The Fall Miraculous Medal “Novena”
The nine-week Novena will be held on Monday nights at 6:30 pm continuing through November 4.
~ St. Louis Mass Book ~ The Mass Book for 2020 is now available. For this year, there are still Sanctuary Lamps available. The offering for each is $10. Rectory Office hours are Mon – Fri., 9-3pm.
Cemetery Fall Cleanup
On Monday, September 30, 2019, we will be starting our fall cleanup of all the Diocesan Cemeteries that are currently managed by the Diocesan Cemetery Group. Please have all flowers, plants, pots and decorations removed by Sunday, September 29, 2019. Anything remaining after this date will be removed and discarded. The next date that winter baskets and decorations may be placed in cemeteries is on or after December 1, 2019. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass
Save the Date! Bishop Robert J. McManus will celebrate the Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass on Sunday, October 20 at 3 pm at the Cathedral of St. Paul, Worcester. This liturgy of thanksgiving to God for many years of faithful witness to the sacredness of Christian marriage honors couples who are marking significant anniversaries (25th, 40th, 50th, etc.) this year. A light reception will follow downstairs in the Cenacle. Family and friends are welcome! Couples wishing to attend should pre-register no later than October 11 so that commemorative certificates may be issued. To register, complete the registration form at www.worcesterdiocese.org/wedding-anniversary-mass, or contact the Office of Marriage and Family at 508-929-4311 to request that a copy of the registration form be sent to you.

Faith Walk for Hunger Sunday, Oct. 6th, 2019
Starting at St. Anthony’s in Dudley at 12 noon, we walk for 5 miles and then return to St. Anthony’s. Come join the area churches that provide support for those in need. Your support helps our area church efforts and network help through St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Food Kitchen, and other areas like fuel assistance and Food Share. Support envelopes are at the main entrance to the Church.
Next Weekend, September 28/29, there will be a second collection for the Annual Catholic Schools Appeal
As we continue the tradition of combining faith and education, we know it begins with you. Your gift to this Appeal will help to ensure a high-quality Catholic education for our students. We appreciate your generous support to help make a wonderful student experience even better! Thank you so much!
