(We ask if you have a high temperature, for your safety and the safety of others to assist Mass at your homes via live streaming on our Youtube & Facebook channel or CatholicTV Channel. 2) We will need to Record your Name and Phone Number. (This is confidential and is asked for the only purpose for the priest to be able to contact you for any reason seen necessary.)

ST. ROSE SCHOOL IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED ESCUELA STA. ROSA DE LIMA ESTA PERMANENTEMENT CERRADA
Brothers and sisters;
I hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy as we adapt, new realities and new rhythms of life in these challenging time. Although we are separated from many friends and family members as we hope to slow the spread of the virus, we also experience the grace of spending more times with our immediate family, more times strengthening our connections with spouses and children, more time taking a breath our busy lives, loves family, and faith. I made this announcement with immense sadness. I know that our current students, faculty, alumni, and their families will also share in this sadness. The decision to close permanently our beloved St. Rose School was made by the Archdiocese based on our enrollment, our school finances, and the implications of the current pandemic crisis. The closing of our school is a loss not only to the St. Rose School community, but to our Parish as whole and to the City of Chelsea. But, we take comfort in knowing that St. Rose School has created a beautiful, lasting legacy of which we can all be very proud. There are many, people to thank for all of their hard work and dedication to the children of St. Rose School to our school staff headed by Ms. Michele Butler our Principal, numerous benefactors, former priests and sisters, pastoral and lay staff our parishioners and countless others who have preceded us over the school's 148- year history. To you our parents for working so diligently and selflessly to help us not just weather the storm of this unprecedented time, but also to grow as a community focused solely on providing quality, Catholic education to your children. Please be assured of my prayers for you and your families and I invite you to pray also for our beloved St. Rose Parish as we move forward. Espero que este mensaje lo encuentre a usted y a sus seres queridos seguros y saludables a medida que nos adaptamos a nuevas realidades y nuevos ritmos de vida en estos tiempos desafiantes. Aunque estamos separados de muchos amigos y familiares, ya que esperamos frenar la propagación del virus, también experimente la gracia de pasar más tiempo con nuestra familia inmediata, fortaleciendo nuestras conexiones con cónyuges e hijos, tomando más tiempo en nuestras ocupadas vidas, amando a la familia y la fe.
Hice este anuncio con inmensa tristeza. Sé que nuestros estudiantes actuales, El profesorado, los antiguos alumnos y sus familias también compartirán esta tristeza. La decisión del cierre permanente, fue tomada por la Arquidiócesis basada en las inscripciones de los estudiantes, las finanzas de la escuela y todas las implicaciones de la crisis de la pandemia actual.
El cierre de nuestra escuela es una pérdida no solo para la comunidad de la escuela Santa Rosa, sino para toda nuestra parroquia y a la ciudad de Chelsea. Nos reconforta saber que la escuela Santa Rosa ha creado un legado hermoso y duradero del cual todos podemos estar muy orgullosos. Hay muchas personas a las cuales tengo que agradecer por todo su arduo trabajo y dedicación a los niños de la Escuela Santa Rosa, a nuestro personal escolar dirigido por la Sra. Michele Butler, nuestra directora, numerosos benefactores, sacerdotes que han estado anteriormente y hermanas, personal pastoral y laicos de nuestros feligreses e innumerables otros que nos han precedido en los 148 años de historia de la escuela.
A ustedes, nuestros padres, por trabajar tan diligentemente y desinteresadamente para ayudarnos no solo durante las diferentes tormentas climáticas, sino durante este tiempo sin precedentes, pero también por crecer como una comunidad centrada únicamente brindando una educación católica de calidad a sus hijos.
