Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, with the “Saint” spelled out, is the official name of the high school. When reFerring to the school, sAint thomAs AquinAs should AlWAys Be used.

St. Thomas Aquinas, with the abbreviated “St.”, refers to the 13th century scholar for whom the school is named.

This small difference is a way to distinguish the Catholic Faith Community in Overland Park, Kansas from other institutions, as well as the scholar himself.

The official colors of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School are Pantone® 288 Navy Blue and 457 Old Gold. The Pantone Matching System, or PMS®, is a universally accepted color system used by printers to insure uniform colors every time.

The RGB and CMYK values are provided to create accurate colors in programs such as Microsoft Word®.

The primary font is Goudy Old Style and the secondary font is Arial Black. Italic and Bold versions of each font are also acceptable.

Original Saint Thomas Aquinas Seal

This is the primary logo of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. It should be always be used to represent the Saint Thomas Aquinas Community, with the exception of activities and athletics.

In the full color version, the cross and shield in the center of the logo must stay white. In the one-color versions, the cross and shield should allow the background color to show.

This is the original seal for the school when it first opened in 1988. It has since been replaced by the primary Seal for most applications, but it is still used on graduation material and select advancement projects.

The primary version of the logo has the shield on the left-hand side behind the “S”. The secondary version without the shield is also acceptable. “Saint Thomas Aquinas” may be added to the primary logo.

In the full color version, the white outline of the word “Saints” should always stay white.

A Saint Thomas Aquinas activity or sport may individualize the Saints logo with the name of their specific group. The type must be Goudy Old Style Bold and in All Caps. There should be a small rule above the name of the group. The name of the group and the rule should appear in PMS 288 Navy Blue.

The Cross and Shield may be used as a secondary representation of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, but it should not replace either The Seal or Saints logos.
