SYNOPSISPanagiota, a 37-year-old illiterate housewife, leads a quiet life with her husband and their children in a modest neighbourhood in Athens, Greece. To cope with the recession that has been affecting her family for some time, Panagiota for the first time in her life, finds a job as a cleaner in a shopping mall. Despite the ruthlessness of her work-environment, Panagiota breaks free from domestic monotony and gradually gains the respect she never had from her family. When a series of layoffs starts, she will have to face again her personal dead ends. But Panagiota cannot be the same anymore.

THE DIRECTORNikos Labôt is a Greek filmmaker who directed 3 short films: The Dog, Impro-Walk and Kinisi 0-0. He co-directed the feature-documentary The Immortals at the southern point of Europe which premiered at the 2013 Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival. He’s also been an assistant-director on several feature-films. Her Job is his first feature-film as a director.

SYNOPSISBeirut, Lebanon, Today.Wardi, an eleven-year-old Palestinian girl, lives with her whole family in the refugee camp where she was born. Her beloved great-grandfather Sidi was one of the first people to settle in the camp after being chased from his home back in 1948. The day Sidi gives her the key to his old house back in Galilea, she fears he may have lost hope of someday going home. As she searches for Sidi’s lost hope around the camp, she will collect her family’s testimonies, from one generation to the next.

THE DIRECTORMats Grorud is a film director and animator from Norway. He previously directed two short films and has worked as an animator on several feature films, documentaries and music videos. During his childhood, his mother worked as a nurse in refugee camps in Lebanon and he spent most of holidays there. In the 1990s, Mats studied at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon while working as an English and Animation teacher in the Burj el Barjaneh refugee camp. Based on the testimonies of the refugees and his experience, he wrote the script for his first-feature film, The Tower.

THE DIRECTORJacques Deschamps is a French filmmaker who has been directing documentaries and feature-films for television and cinema for over 30 years. His first feature film, Still Waters Run Deep, was awarded Best First Film at the Venice Film Festival in 1996. He is currently working on his fourth feature film entitled Tsunami. Concurrently, Deschamps also gives lectures on documentary filmmaking at the prestigious Femis School as well as the Lussas-Grenoble Documentary Film School.

Impulso is his first feature-length documentary and a return to his Andalusian roots.

Her documentary film Imams go to school was premiered at IDFA 2010 and selected in many prestigious festivals. Challat of Tunis her first feature film, opened the ACID section at the Cannes Film Festival 2014. Her latest film Zaineb hates the snow, shot during 6 years between Tunisia and Canada, was premiered in the official selection at Locarno Film Festival 2016.
