TamikaEvansisanassistantprogramofficerwiththeHoustonteamsupportingtheFOCnetworktostrengthenfamilies,individualsandsmallbusinessesinfiveneighborhoods.Previouslyshehasworkedinartsandcommunity-basedorganizationsforoveradecadefocusingoncommunityengagement,funddevelopment,andpropertymanagement,withanumberofthoseyearsworkingwithanaffordablehousingdeveloperinHouston’shistoricThirdWard. Tamikaenjoysreadinghistoricalfictionandnon-fiction,relaxingatbeautifulstateparks,andlovingherthreechildreninanatmospherethatnourishestheirheart,hands,andmind.
