San Francisco Antique & Collectable Addicts Rejoice! No more bridge, no more tolls, our search begins at home at The Candlestick Park Antiques and Collectibles Faire, located at iconic Candlestick Park in the City of San Francisco. Held on the third Sunday of every month, September 26, 2010 will be the next event date. Scheduled this year also on October 24, November 28 and December 19, 2010 (The fourth Sunday of every month on occasion, due to the 49er games, check schedule details online.) Admission tickets are available only at the show, $15.00 - 6:00AM to 8:00AM $5.00 - 8:00AM to 3:00PM Free and Easy Parking, Free carts with easy lot access to get large purchases to your transportation. Last month designers Lorna Villa Seven and Samuel Fleming Lewis made a short trek from their San Francisco homes to attend the event. True San Franciscans know that even the warmest part of the city can be freezing cold in the summer and this day was no exception. (Certain people were a bit under dressed.) The well displayed vendor spaces had the feeling of outdoor boutiques. Villa and Lewis spotted several interior designer friends checking out the new venue. As it grows, the San Francisco Antiques and Collectibles Faire will have up to 500 booths selling goods. All merchandise must be twenty years or older and there are no reproductions allowed. This is Northern California’s newest Antiques & Collectables show. Lorna and Samuel had a light breakfast of coffee and freshly made mini donuts made from an interesting little machine by a gentleman in a big top hat. The pair then picked up Lorna’s purchase of a mint condition forest green 1940’s lounge chair with brush fringe details.
