1. Work Accomplished this Invoice Period
Manually removed over 892 plants of yellow starthistle (YST) at 2 different
infested sites
Applied herbicide at one site on .43 acres where over 200 plants were found
Surveyed a total of 101.8 acres for YST plants
Surveyed 12 location at least once during this quarter
2. Work Anticipated for Next Period
Grant contact ended on 6/30/2013
3. Challenges or Problems Experienced
Winter/Spring season rains about 35% below normal.
Uncertainty of future funding for eradication work of YST
Various sizes of Yellow Starthistle plants found on one site
