RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE:

Project: Biogen Inc.Biogen project includes development of the Siebel e-pharma application within Biogen premises with an onsite offshore model. Biogen has an IT division which is committed in delivering high quality applications to users to enhance their productivity. They are in process of building a sales force application built on Siebel 8.x. Cognizant is developing and implementing the sales force automation application for Biogen. The implementation involves data extraction from their legacy system, cleansing/massaging it and then migrating it into the new system. This also involves migration of data from other external system. The data migration routines are done using SQL/PL-SQL, Informatica and Siebel EIM. In addition to this the system is integrated with other external/internal system to keep it in sync.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Siebel Application and Infrastructure Implementing and maintaining all elements of Siebel CRM systems, including

Network, Database, Unix servers, Siebel Server application topologies and interfaces.

Configuration, set-up and administration of Siebel Remote and Handheld components for Siebel CRM module. The role interacts with the Siebel development team, Siebel Vendors, TAMs, IT staff, and other stakeholders to analyse, proposed changes to Siebel technical configurations in other to optimise overall performance.

Installation, administration, and maintenance of Siebel Enterprise servers required supporting the Siebel application. The position also involved working closely with the Oracle DBA for Database changes.

Developed an extensive documentation on the use of Siebel Anywhere kits for the planning and implementation of Siebel software upgrades.

Worked with other IT groups to evaluate new solutions in relation to Siebel technical requirements, cost and availability. Evaluating, planning and developing an overall Siebel infrastructure strategy.

Argentina (Nearshore/ Onsite) Worked as a single POC in Support track for Siebel application in business hours

for 2.6 years from Cognizant Buenos Aires, Argentina. Handled live deployments, live maintenance work on Windows and Database

servers with clients. Worked in Informatica Support for 3 months. Attended multiple project status call, innovations, PMO reports from Argentina

location.

Enhancement/Development Track (Siebel ePharma Application) Interacting with Client on a day to day basis for Complexity determination and

Effort estimation of enhancements requests. Requirement analysis and Design of the new Interfaces and Stabilizing the

existing Dataflow for other interfaces like inbound and outbound. Updating the status of development to Client on a daily basis and monitor the

tasks assigned to the team and also help them understand the requirement. Implementation and System testing of the enhancements implemented in PL/SQL

and UNIX. Provide Design documents and decks for design review by Client for the

enhancement done in sprints.

Support Track (Siebel ePharma Application) Attended the KT sessions from various stakeholders and updated knowledge on

new incidents and interfaces to the Internal Team. Primary responsible in Shadow, Shared & Steady phase of the project for

attending KT and giving reverse KT to Cognizant internal team. Expertise in giving support and resolution for different kind of issues in ePharma

application. Assigning and administering tasks on a day to day basis. Maintain good inter-personal relationship with the application Users as well as

Client and resolving the Issues before the timeframe expected. Resolving issues regarding data load failure and data loading to Siebel

application. Monitoring Process Chains and correcting data load failures when they occur. Maintaining proper documentation and process for the support in Service Center

system for proper transparency of issue resolution process and to stabilize the project Support track. This was also well appreciated by Client and within the Organization level.
